Asdasd
Please check your compressor motor for malfunction. Observe also thermostat for failing.
Can not initiate defrost on amana asd2620rb
in the freshfood area there is your control assembly..the defrost timer located in there..there will be a round hole with a knob that has a slot in it..insert your screwdriver and turn clockwise until you hear refrigerator go off. this will put you into a defrost...if all is well and working ok..just replace timer....
if it goes into a defrost ,but will not come on..the defrost thermostat is most likely bad..these refrigerators have bad defrost t/s for some reason, but not always is it this fault...check your heater with a multi-meter and if okay...bypass the defrost thermostat..if its bad...this will let the heater come on..do not leave this circuit bypassed for any reason..if is a safety feature and will let the heater stay as long as its in defrost.....just replace this part ad all will be ok
Humidity-Controlled Crisper Drawers
If you will post the complete model number including the string of digits starting with P, (if it has these) I will look it up and see what I can find.
You can usually go to sears.com, click on parts, enter the model number from the fridge decal, and pull up a parts diagram of the fridge.
Thanks/mike

Afd2535des not cooling in any department, when I opened the doors, the lights work and the led temp control lights up. I hear a fan start and 5 seconds later the fan stops n leds shut off.
- Check the thermostat: Make sure the thermostat is set to a temperature that is low enough to cool the refrigerator. If the thermostat is not working properly, it may need to be replaced.
- Check the condenser coils: The condenser coils on the back of the refrigerator should be clean and free of dust and debris. If the coils are dirty, the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to clean the coils.
- Check the fan motor: If the fan motor is not running, the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. Check if the fan motor is receiving power and if it's spinning freely. If the fan motor is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the start relay: The start relay helps the compressor start up. If the start relay is faulty, the compressor may not start and the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. If the start relay is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the compressor: If the compressor is not working, the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. Check if the compressor is receiving power and if it's running. If the compressor is faulty, it will need to be replaced.

No power to Amana ice and water dispenser. Rest of refer runs fine.
It's possible that the issue could be with a micro switch located on the ice maker cabinet that is activated when the prong on the back of the ice/auger tray is inserted. It's also possible that there could be another issue with the dispenser, such as a problem with the wiring or a malfunctioning component. I would recommend checking the wiring and testing any other micro switches or components that are related to the dispenser to see if they are functioning properly. If you are unsure how to do this, I would recommend consulting the user manual or contacting a qualified technician for further assistance.
