HERE'S THE ANSWER TO YOUR PROBLEM:

I think your problem has something to do with the display of the MENU BAR of your browser. If the MENU BAR is displayed, you don't need to use the shortcut commands. This is what you've got to do:

1. Press the Alt Key. After releasing it, you will find a temporary display of the MENU BAR.

2. Click View

3. Click Toolbars. As you noticed, different toolbars are displayed. Click the MENU BAR, NAVIGATION TOOL BAR, and all the other bars that you want.

You will be surprised that all these commands will be permanently displayed on your browser.

NOTE: This process is applicable to Mozilla Browser.

Your problem is solved! Thanks. I hope it helps...

How do i download pictures from cd to mac

Easiest way. Make a new folder on your desktop. Depending on the OS, use the keys Command N or Shift Command N for a new folder. Title the folder. The Apple key immediately to the left and right of the space bar is the Command Key.
Insert the CD into the tray. When it opens drag the folder or files on the CD to your newly-created desktop folder. Remove the CD. You may now move the photos to IPhoto or any other location of your own choosing and edit them, turn them into a slide show or do with them what you will.
Using the same technique you can also transfer files ( any files, not just photos) from a USB device.
If your CD tray does not work or cannot read the CD (wrong format, etc) you have to progress to more ingenious solutions. Worst case, the screen will state "disk unreadable by this computer." Possibly formatted for Windows or some unreadable DAT format. Then you will have to go back to the source and reformat the files to JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG or some format your Imac will recognize.

How do i use compare it

Total Commander (www.ghisler.com, ex. Windows Commander) is a popupar two panels file manager. If you are still using Explorer for your routine tasks, you should definitely give it a try. TC has built-in file compare tool, but it is limited to standard features and does not allow merging.
Using new features of TC 7

Among new features of v7 in TotalCommander we can find an ability to define external compare utility, which TC will use instead of internal tool. It gives us 2 main advantages:

  • CompareIt will be used from internal Folders comparison tool (useful if you are not using our Synchronize It!)
  • Now we can quickly compare 2 files, selected in same pane!
  • Compare It can be used to compare files within archives
Using this nice feature requires a bit of manual work:
  1. Find wincmd.ini file - it's location is listed in Help>About
  2. Open it in any editor and find [Configuration] section
  3. Add this line under found section:CompareTool=c:\Program Files\Compare It!\wincmp3.exeOf course, change CompareIt path to what you have in your system
  4. Save file and restart Total Commander.
  5. To ensure that everything is working properly, select 2 files in same pane and choose File>CompareByContent command from menu. CompareIt should open with your selected files.
Comparing selected filesart_tc.gif

We will use button bar feature of TC - basically this is toolbar with shortcuts, used to quickly start applications with parameters from current panes.

To add shortcut to Compare It!, simply drag it and drop to the button bar. New button will appear, you can try to start application by clicking it.

Now we have to change parameters in order to compare files currently selected in left and right panes. Click our new shortcut with right mouse button and choose "Change..." to access button properties dialog.
We are interested in Parameters field, fill it as shown: art_tc2.gif
Quite a lot of variables can be used in parameters. But we will use only these (excerpt from TC' help file):
  • %P causes the source path to be inserted into the command line, including a backslash (\) at the end;
  • %N places the filename under the cursor into the command line;
  • %T inserts the current target path;
  • %M places the current filename in the target directory into the command line.
So %P%N becomes full path of current file in active pane, %T%M - full path of selected file in second pane.

Tip: Since Compare It! supports zip archives, you can also use created button to compare file with it's zipped version. To do this, select file in one pane, and archive in second one. Note that file to compare can reside deep in folders within archive, Compare It! will find it anyway.Using FileName Auto-Complete featureBut you can get even more by using unique Compare It! feature, designed especially for this case. Add to button bar another shortcut to Compare It!, and change parameters to these: art_tc3.gif
To use this button you don't have to select required file in second pane - just select file in active pane, and change your second pane to show folder were another file is located. This single button will save you several minutes every time you need to compare files with same name.

Will not format to full 1 gb it is a verbatim

Hi,

Ithink it could be due to virus activity. Some virus make the contents of thedrive hidden, that's why user can't see the files and the space available for use is less than thecapacity and also can not open the drive. It issuggested that go to FOLDER OPTIONS - and select SHOW HIDDEN FILES. It may showthe hidden files. If can not show ,hidden file (tools >folder option>view> check on show hidden file>check off hide protected and checkoff hide extension) now can see all hidden file in c drive. If not think...... For ensure again run>type> msconfig > hit can not open ms config if virus effected run >type> regedit>hit>can not open registry if virus effected run >type >gpedit.msc>hit can not open group edit policy if virus effected Otherwise, ifyou don't have any vital data on the drive, just format it in another pc.Pleasenote, before insert the Pen drive .Go to run command from start menu OR Press Win key+R and type gpedit.msc and hit>Usser configuration >system>turn off auto play >enable>use down arrow key select all drive >apply >ok. Control panel>administrative tools > service>select any word in right side and presss for select Shell Hardware Detection> d -click >use down arrow key>disable >start. And now can insert pen drive and format. Hope this wouldfix the issue and . Youshould fully scan by f-secure bootable cd or any another antivirus bootable cd.Just insert the disk and restart. Follow bellow the download link. http://www.f-secure.com/en_EMEA-Labs/security-threats/tools/rescue-cd you wouldbe able to enjoy the full capacity of the disk. Try to be sure follow these youshould delete partition and create new partition and format your all drive. Now install fresh O.S.

I am the new user, Kindly support me with out charging users guides on how to use ms word easily with short cut keys

Open up Word, click on Help >> MS Office Word Help and a whole bunch of online solutions will appear on the right side. Have fun.

For example:

About shortcut keys
You can quickly accomplish tasks you perform frequently by using shortcut keys - one or more keys you press on the keyboard to complete a task.

For example, pressing CTRL+B changes the selected text to bold, just as clicking Bold on the Formatting toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.) or selecting Bold in the Font dialog box (Format menu) changes the selected text to bold.

Printing a list of shortcut keys

If you frequently refer to the Help topics that list shortcut keys, you may find it helpful to keep a printed copy of those topics. In Help, locate the topic you want, and then click Print .

You can also run a macro (macro: An action or a set of actions that you can use to automate tasks. Macros are recorded in the Visual Basic for Applications programming language.) that creates a list of the current shortcut key assignments, and then print the list.

On the Tools menu, point to Macro, and then click Macros.
In the Macros in box, click Word commands.
In the Macro name box, click ListCommands.
Click Run.
In the List Commands dialog box, click Current menu and keyboard settings.
Click OK.
On the File menu, click Print.
Customizing shortcut keys

You can customize shortcut keys in Microsoft Word by assigning shortcut keys to commands that do not already have them or by removing shortcut keys you don't want. If you don't like the changes you make, you can return to the default shortcut key settings at any time.

Using shortcut keys with different keyboard layouts or Word as your e-mail editor

Shortcut keys mentioned in the Help topics, menus, and dialog boxes refer to the U.S. keyboard layout. Keys on other layouts may not correspond exactly to the keys on a U.S. keyboard. If the language of the keyboard layout you are using doesn't match the language you set for Microsoft Word or Word Help, you may have to make adjustments when using shortcut keys or change your keyboard layout.

If you are using Word as your e-mail editor, some of the shortcut keys listed may not be available or may produce different results.
