The instruction manual for the Dewalt DWS773-GB saw states the following on page 8:

Look at Figure 2 (on page 1) in the instruction manual.. The date code is identified on the figure as 0000 00-00, area v v.

The intake valves on the head of the compressor are bad. They are not closing to allow compression.

Go to the Dewalt service website at http://servicenet.dewalt.com and do a search for your model number in the Find Parts box. Use 37-190 (with the dash) or you'll get a long list of parts. The Type 1 and Type 2 don't list a manual but the Type 3 does. The differences in Types are usually very minor, look that one up and see if it fits your needs for your jointer.

The compressors that come in units change from year to year and model to model. Depending on the age and type of unit, it could be a Copeland, Bristol....just about anything in the 2 ton range.


Best bet would be to look down and on the top or side of the compressor, you should see a series of numbers that have the model and serial numbers. The model would be the compressor you seek and the serial will help to determine the age of the compressor. Also be sure to look for a name brand such as Copeland, Bristol, Tecumseh, etc.etc..

I checked the Dewalt servicenet site (available here) and can't find anything available from DeWalt online. It may be too old for them to have it in the database.
There are some non-specific and other model DeWalt manuals that may prove helpful to you available at this site.
