If it types as you press the kets delay print is turned off, press the print mode key on the r R. side until Dl prt is on the display. If it just starts typing at a the same position every time you probably have the R. margin set there and auto return on (CODE R).
Make sure to follow these steps:

Hi. You need to do tray linking. When one linked tray is empty, paper feeds from the next linked tray. The size and type settings for all trays must be set from the Paper Menu. To set the paper type or size: 1. On the home screen, touch Menu button 2. Touch Paper Menu 3. Touch Paper Size/Type. Note: To link the multipurpose feeder, Configure MP must be set to Cassette in order for MP Feeder Size or MP Feeder Type to appear as a menu item. 4. Touch the right or left arrows to select the same size paper from all paper sources to be linked. 5. Touch the right or left arrows to select the same type paper from all paper sources to be linked. Note: When the Size and Type settings are the same for any trays, the trays are automatically linked. 6. Touch Submit. Submitting changes appears. 7. Touch Home to return to the home screen. Hope this helps.
Solution one: Print on heavier paper
Try printing on a thicker type of paper.
Solution two: Check driver settings
If printing on plain paper, make sure the driver settings are set to Plain Paper.
To change the driver settings, click the
Properties
button in the Print window.
If the Paper Type is not set to Plain paper, click the drop down box and choose
More
.
Find and click
Plain paper
, then click
OK
.
Click
OK
to return to the Print window and click
OK
to continue printing.
In Word 2007, use the Mailing > Envelopes > Options section.
In 2003 I think it was under Tools > Envelopes & Mailings > Options.
There you'll be able to specify if the manual feed is top first or edge first, to the left, centered, or to the right, and how far over and down to place the address and return address.
Try this:::
The paper settings in the print driver must match the paper settings for at least one of the installed paper trays.
Open a document in the program being used to print.
Click File , click Print , and then click Properties . The product Properties dialog box appears.
Click the Paper/Quality tab.
Choose the appropriate paper size from the Size is drop-down menu.
Choose the appropriate paper type from the Type is drop-down menu.
Click OK and then click OK again to print the document..
If the issue is not resolved, continue with the next step.
NOTE:
If the issue is resolved and it is necessary to print on another type of paper, load the new paper type into the product and then repeat steps 2 through 7 for the new paper. These changes do not change the default print settings. The print settings return to the default the next time the program is opened.
Let me know if it helps or I can research it some more.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
