Our Samsung front loader is leaking small amounts of water into the pedestal each cycle. The door seal does not seem to be leaking and the water is draining from the washer. Any thoughts?

Ours was leaking from the place you put the detergent and softner, it leaked into the door and the inside of the door filled with water, causing it to leak into the drawer below it. We have totally cleaned out the tray area, used a tooth brush to clean the holes out, don't know if that is going to work, but that is where we are at the moment....

The door rubber tends to perish, you need to check the rubber on the door or try to move the current bottom of the rubber seal to the top, the machine does not fill up more than 50% of the rubber area.

I am having the same problem. It is NOT leaking from the door. Both solutions listed talk about the door leaking. Did you ever find out why your washer was leaking?

I have a two month old Samsung WF350 front load washer. I have a trickle of water leaking from the bottom of the door during wash cycles.

I just received my Samsung WD 8804 front loader washing machine, and during the 3rd wash trial, I noticed the same problem of water trickling down from the base of the front door. I took a closer look and the problem is actually due to a cracked rubber seal, which can be seen through the glass door. I have informed the technician.

Hi there... My Whirlpool Duet washer has recently sprung a leak! It leaks a small stream of water out of the bottom left side (as you would look at it from the front) and runs down the stand to the floor....

I had the exact same problem on my Whirlpool front loader (model# GHW9100LW1). It turned out to be a tear in the rubber drain hose (from tub to pump). There seemed to be some debris caught up in the drain hose, and what really did the damage was a piece of metal wire that broke off one of my wife's bra straps and made a nice tear in the hose. The washer leaked out of the left side as well and down the pedestal. The drain hose only ran about $13.00. To get to the hose you will have to remove the front tub seal (bellow) and the panel just above the pedestal. While you're in there it would be good to clean out the filter cap for the drain pump as well. Good luck!

My Whirlpool front end loader washing machine is leaking from the degergent dispenser. Also, when it is on the spin cycle, it makes a load noise and it will occasionaly leak from under the door.

We just had the same problem. After taking out the detergent tray, we saw the water was not draining into the drum. Feeling around the door seal in the upper corner (there is a small opening all the way around, between the door seal and drum seal, that you can fit your fingers into - please unplug your maching), my husband felt some fabric, and pulled out a mangled toddler pillowcase, which would have been in there for about two - three loads prior to finding the leak. Odds are you may have some medium size fabric piece in there, and is likely is the blockage. This is where the water seems to drain from the detergent compartmemt to the Drum.

Front door leaking during washing cycle

There are only two ways that water can leak out this way. it can be either the door seal or the door lock mech has become misaligned, causing a slight gap that is letting the water escape through.

I recommend inspecting the door lock mech for its integrity. make sure it is aligned correctly to specs. replace this mechanism if found to be faulty or misaligned. i would also inspect the seal for tiny ruptures as well. the slightest rupture or hole can allow small amounts of water to excape.

Inspect these areas thouroughly.
