WF328aaw Samsung Washer, Will not power up. No

I have same problem. The way I get around it is I change the cord to another wall socket. Apparently this is a thing with Samsung washers of this model type. There is a way to dyi fix it, but it would involve buying the part and taking the top off and risking something else to fail

How can I best access the pump on my Samsung front load washer? I don't know how to remove the front panel

Some samsung washers have the water pump located in the back of the machine. If your model does not have a small door located in the bottom of front than remove back service panel to access the water pump.

Samsung error code 3E?

3E - MOTOR RESTRICTION ERROR
Hall Senior is sensed every 5OOms. 1 second after motor starts to work.

If data of hall sensor is less than 2 (2RPM), the Washing motor will stop at once.

During Washing and Rinsing when a motor restriction is sensed, the motor stops and then proceeds to the next water -flow action. If the motor stops working and this happens in one direction ten times, "3E" Error is displayed.

During dehydrating. when a motor restriction is sensed. the motor stops working and then returns to the initial stage of the dehydration unbalance sensing cycle. After ten times, "3E" Error is displayed, When the motor Is told to stop because of an operating function. no error is shown.

Power 81W OFF can clear the motor restriction error.

Why no drain, no spin?

Washer will not drain: Thedrain water pumpis the main part in your washing machine that pumps out the water. If this is defective or has failed in any way, this will be the reason why your washer will not drain the water. Before you order a new drain pump, make sure tocheck the pump to be sure a small object like clothing or similar has not lodged itself insideof it causing the NO DRAIN issue and even a no spin issue?. If the drain pump is not clogged, you can test it with a multimeter and remove and replace if needed. Go to Google or YouTube and search for "Replace Washing Machine Drain Pump" then type your brand and model number of washer to show you details on replacement. Read more:http://removeandreplace.com/2014/10/30/fix-washing-machine-that-wont-drain-washer-not-draining-water/#ixzz3X2LbXMWJ The washing machinedrain hoseis where the water flows through to get the water out.If this drain hose is blocked, kinked, bent, or clogged, the washer will NOT be able to remove the waterfrom the tub. Check the drain hose to be sure it allows the water to flow freely. You can take the drain hose off and run water through it in your sink to be sure it is not blocked. If there is water STILL in the washer when you remove the drain hose, grab a bucket as the water will exit from where you disconnected it Thewater pump belt(to drain out the water) may have broke or become frayed or loose. If this belt breaks then it is unable to drain and remove the water from your washer. Inspect the belt to see if this is causing theNO DRAINissue and remove and replace if needed. If thelid switchis not working as required it will cause your washer to not drain (and many other problems). This may be unlikely as a bad lid switch will usually cause your washer to alsonot agitate or spin. However on some models this can vary. The best thing to do if you have a suspected bad lid switch is to test it. It can fail electrically and or mechanically. If mechanical failure is the issue, you should be able to see if it is cracked, broken, or not in place to make contact with the lid. To test it electrically, use a multimeter set on Ohms and test it for continuityMy advice is free cuz God is good! samsung-front-load-washer-wf328aaw-hums-cs4uo0ksqeekdm4wcgxnqiuz-3-0.jpg samsung-front-load-washer-wf328aaw-hums-cs4uo0ksqeekdm4wcgxnqiuz-3-2.jpg samsung-front-load-washer-wf328aaw-hums-cs4uo0ksqeekdm4wcgxnqiuz-3-5.jpg samsung-front-load-washer-wf328aaw-hums-cs4uo0ksqeekdm4wcgxnqiuz-3-9.jpg samsung-front-load-washer-wf328aaw-hums-cs4uo0ksqeekdm4wcgxnqiuz-3-14.jpg

I have a Samsung washer model number wf338aab/xaa my tub is off balance

All front-load washing machines have shock absorbers that are used to dampen the tub movement in the spin cycle. The shock absorbers or struts are attached to the base frame and to the outer tub and you will need to remove the front panel or the rear panel to access them. When shock absorbers weaken or become damaged, the machine will often make a loud banging sound during the spin cycle and if the symptom is not corrected, can lead to damage of other components. Inspect the shocks for signs of broken attachments, leaked fluids or a weakened dampening action and replace both shocks if worn. Remove power from the appliance before attempting this repair. Some models of top-load washers use tub dampening straps to cushion the movement of the tub during the spin cycle. There are four straps attached to the top of the tub and to each corner of the cabinet Also There are four suspension rods that suspend the tub and allow the tub to free float. If the suspension rods are noisy, there will be a squeaking noise during wash. You can fix this by putting bearing (lithium base) grease in the cup that each rod rests in. If it continues to squeal replace all four rods the cups come with the rods, replace them as well. If your washer has a loud banging noise during spin the balance weight may be loose. This weight is to counter act the weight of the motor so you will find the weight directly behind the motor. Sometimes simply tightening the bolts will fix your issue but if the bolts are stripped out get some bolts slightly longer than the original bolt to allow you to put a locking nut on the bottom side of the mounting plate. If the weight is broken replace it. Lastly Washer vibration can be caused by a broken counter balance spring. Ur washer may be equipped with one or more counter balance springs which help to absorb the natural movement of the spinning tub. If a counter balance spring fails the tub might lean in one direction more than another and it will shake and cause vibration. By the way my advice is free cuz God is good! 25110502-k4ataymuwmgrdb2rqqdy5pxt-4-0.jpg

There is a water level sensor that could inhibit the operation of the pump if it is indicating that the water level is low. There is also a small relay in the control panel (on the control circuit card), which may have dirty contacts. That is the contacts are not closing properly. Unfortunately, this relay is not readily accessible to consumers and even quite difficult to service for the professionals. I posted a description of the repair or cleaning of the contacts on the question placed by another user "My Drain Pump Doesn't Work"

Have you resistance tested the cable from the pub to the pump connections ? The sensor problem I had which was linked to failure to drain was connected to a piece of tube some sort of pressure sensor .. The tube had a split so it was not detecting the pressure (of I assume height of water left in the machine) split was at the top .. Bit of trimming of the pipe fixed the problem

Samsung washer WF328AAW/XAA metal pieces in hose?

Could be a number of things. Either something foreign was left in a pocket (Coins are the most common object) and has come out in the wash. The coin rattles around and falls in between the tubs through the gap in the front gasket. When this happens, the coin can hit the bracket which holds the heater element in place and tears it off. This causes a lot of damage. Most Samsung have plastic outer bowls and often, the tub will be split and a leak will start from underneath. Lastly, it could be the drum main shaft and spider assembly. This is what holds the spin tub into the machine. If this fails, bits of metal will come off. Usually seen as bits of corroded aluminium that get stuck in the pump and hoses. When this happens, the tub usually goes loose and the machine makes a horrible grinding and banging noise when spinning. I would say that if this has happened , its time for a new machine.
