My computer some problem so i am formet my computer pci simple communicatio controller is not working display setting also not setting

Windows 7 should automatically install device drivers for the Audio, Video and Network, If you are unable to find/download a device driver that works on your computer and your computer is connected to the Internet then - 1. Remove the driver that isn't working if it was installed.
2. Set Win-7 "Windows Device Installation" to 'AUTO'
3. Windows will automatically search the internet for the driver.
4. Reboot your computer.

the PCI simple comm controller is part of the chip set drivers. You can find these at E-Machine's website, under support. Since you did not provide a model number I can not be more specific than that.

Hello dave, the only way you can change default setting on resolution is go to > Nvidia Control Panel > Display > Change resolution and click apply. If this option does not work you can go to start> control panel> uninstall a program and remove your old nvidia driver from you computer and reinstall latest driver again, restart computer. if you set the t stat in VIP mode you can operate the fan manually but you shouldnt have to do this. it sounds like the t stat is losing communicatio with the HVAC reciever board.

To set up vga you have to set the bios setting to the vga platform which you are using like intgated to on board ,pci to pci card and pci-E to pci express card .
Then boot pc and right click on my computer - manage-device manager-display adapter -and see any yellow mark in it .
if their is any mark then update the driver by keeping mother board cd in cd/dvd rom .
delete any non completable driver in it or you can use control panel to do this work .
if you are unable to boot in system then on boot screen press f8 to boot in vga mode or safe mode .and do all work recommended

Open your cpu cabinet.
refix your RAM memory .
Pull cmos cell for 10 minutes so all settigns are defaults.
Also remove PCI cards from PCI slot .
Then check.

I would suggest attempting to configure it through windows. Go start, control panel, display and set the secondary output which should be your pci card to display the primary screen. If that does not work I would suggest going onto the hp website and searching for further assistance.

Hi, I have a solution. If you go in device manager, click on the pci simple communications controller, go in property and then go in details. You will see a code like per example PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS...

The VEN code means vendor and the DEV code means device: in my case the vendor is 8086 and the device is 27D8.

Once you have the two codes, go to www.pcidatabase.com. Enter the two codes and you should get the name of your
hardware. From there you can search for a driver download for your hardware.

In my case the pci simple communications controller was a Microsoft UAA Bus HD audio. I also had another pci
device that didn't work properly, using the same method I found out that my pci device was an HSF PCI internal modem with code number CX11252-11. I had a hard time downloading one of the drivers, after 6 or 7 times the download started so be patient if you have the same hardware
.
NOTE: to access the device manager, go in control panel, then performance and maintenance, system, hardware and finally device manager.
