I purchase hp laser m1005, can i convert to wireless

Not that I am aware of , but to print from it wirelessly can be done if you have a home network. If you have a Destop computer ,for instance, you could connect via a printer cable to the desktop and share the printer on your home network you set up. on your laptop just add a printer and it will work wirelessly as a network printer.

How to check ink levels for HP6500A Plus Printer

Hi,

Normally there are 2 different ways to check ink level on any HP printer

First one is :

IF your printer is HP Officejet 6500 Wireless AIO,

Press Setup button ( ranch like symbol ) on printer front panel
Use Arrow key ( left or right arrow ) till you find Tools option - Press OK
User Arrow key to find Ink Level or Ink Gauge - Press OK.
It should display the ink level.

If it does not display ink level through this method, it could be for many reasons like printer is not aligned or one of the cartridge is not recognized etc.

2nd method is from PC
Open HP Solution Center
Click on Settings
Click on Printer tool box
Click on Ink level

Regards,
Ron

I have an HP LaserJet printer 4050N with RJ45 and Parallel Port. The Printer is kind of far from the WireLess router and I can't connect it. Unfortunately, my PC doesn't have a parallel port. The best...

Another option is to find an old laptop, with "wireless" capabilities and a Parallel Port.

Connect the printer to the laptop.

Connect the laptop to your wireless network.

Tell the laptop to "share" the printer.

Then, any computer on your network can "find" the networked printer, and can print to it.

Lap top problem

Wireless network adapters require an associated wireless receiver (such as a wireless router or wireless access point) to recieve the radio signals from the adapter and eventually route them to a wire and in you case it would be the wire providing internet services to your desktop computer. If there is no wireless receiver there is no device to convert the radio communications of the wireless adapter and rout those signals to the internet.

I hope this helps.
