How do i install a new door gasket/seal on my Frigidaire upright freezer model # LFFH21F7HWA ?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to install a new door gasket on your Frigidaire freezer, model# LFFH21F7HWA. Typically this is not a do it yourself repair, as there are no step by step instruction manuals that will tell you how to do this. I suggest either contacting the manufacturer or your local authorized technician for further assistance. The technician has been trained on your specific appliance, and should be able to replace the new gasket with ease. Hope this is helpful.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS IN REPLACING THE GASKET ON MY KENMORE UPRIGHT FREEZER

If it is a push fit gasket it simply pulls out and the new one pushes in to the groove. Warm in hot water before fitting to ease it in. If the seal is part of the door, you have to replace the door as a complete assembly. Rare models have doors that can be taken apart and reassembled with a new gasket fitted but i don't think Kenmore is one of those.

Kenmore upright freezer, about 16 cu ft. Buildup

symptoms you are describing are faulty door seals, try putting a thin piece of paper between door and frame to make sure doors are sealing, also when did you do a full manual defrost??(once a year even with auto defrost)

Mu upright freezer door seal was loose and it is leaking from door would this cause domw food to thaw and can it be fixed

a leaking gasket can cause food to thaw and it can be fixed if a new gasket is avaliable from local appliance parts place..the gasket is held on by the liner which is removed by gently lifting the gasket and removing the screws..the reverse to install the new gasket

Is it worth replacing a door gasket on a 25 year old freezer. It is a Kenmore 6. Upright. It does not seal tight anymore.

Is the door gasket torn?? if not try cleaning the rubber surface that makes contact with the metal portion of the fridge and clean the metal area also, because inside the rubber gasket is a magnet that helps the gasket seal properly.I've seen door gaskets range in price from $50.00-$100.00 so if thats the only problem it sure beats buying a new fridge for a whole lot more money.

My Kenmore freezer, model #253.9280212 runs but will not cool below 40 degrees. It runs all the time but I do not hear anything cut on and off. The freezer is 10 years old but looks brand new.

The first thing to check is door gasket< bad corners, gap in side, bottom or top. Close door on a dollar bill and try to slide it top to bottom side to side and if it slides fairly easy then seal is not doing good. If you find dirty area clean it off along with the cabinet side as well.If you find the side is leaking then heat gasket with hair dryer and apply vasoline to gasket to help it move freely. If you find tear or hole then replace it.

Kenmore freezer

if the gasket isn't torn and the gap isn't caused by a door hinge problem you might try putting some vaseline on the door seal. If that doesn't help you may have to replace the seal.

Sears Upright freezer-the door does not have the suction anymore

You may need the hinge adjusted or a new door gasket but you might first try putting a layer of vaseline on the gasket. If none of those things help the problem is probably other than the door seal.

Door not sealing

After putting a new gasket on you will usually need to form it. You can use a hair dryer to heat the gasket and flat screw driver to form it.
