This problems could be also causes by the board the call the T-CON docoders board,it sit in at middle of the bottom of the LCD screen panel.Because this board decoders incomming pictture signal before it go into the LCD screen panel to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decoderd board for the replacement.
Clean the contacts on the ribbon cables coming out of the display at the top of the screen that go into the T-Con board, (Timing and Control) Usually only one is the problem. Mine was the far left one shown in the picture below. Your set layout may be somewhat different, but this procedure should still apply.
These Samsung's also have a problem with the ribbon cable on the upper left corner of the screen underneath the metal frame. This ribbon cable goes into the screen from the top, very narrow control board. Squeeze the top left corner of the screen to see if your picture changes. If it does, you'll have to place a 1/4" thick about 2" long, horizontal piece of non-conductive foam underneath the metal frame to put pressure on the ribbon cable. This will cause the separated conductive strips on this cable to make contact again, and if done right, should restore your picture. Worst case, you'll have to replace the screen if the cable has become completely separated.
This fixed my 46" LN46A650A1F
Your set should be reasonably close enough to mine to use the above procedure. Good luck!
