Lag in Chefville

OMG all of you are WRONG, it is ZYNGA. NOT the dudes system (eyeroll) YES ZYNGA lags on CHEFVILLE whenever you request anything. NOT posting but, requesting. I bought my computer brand new, a samsung, from the box Windows 8 and 64 bit, and it STILL lags when sending requests through CHEFVILLE, from the minute I ran the game and it does it through the library computers, and my friends laptops. So really your "helpful advice" is a bunch of hogwash!

Can i connect to xbox live using vodafone mobile broardband usb stick

hi there,
you can't connect the usb stick to the xbox directly, but you can connect your xbox to your pc/laptop with the broadband usb stick in your pc/laptop and share the connection. while this will work, it's not going to be very fast and if you intend to play games online there will be a big lag. But it's better than nothing if that is all you have for internet connection. Anyway here's how. connect your laptop to your xbox using an ethernet cable, and have your usb dongle in your pc/laptop connected to the internet.
now depending on what os(operating system) you have on your computer, navigate to control panel>network and sharing>manage network connections.
once in here you want to enable sharing on your connection and tick the box allow other users to connect through this computers connection. then you want to select local area connection on the home network connection menu.
now you can test your xbox live connection to see if it connects to the internet, if it does happy gaming :)
If it fails, try making your connection to a public rather than private connection. If this method fails, try restarting your pc/laptop and then your xbox and go through the process again.
I know this can be tricky and alot of trial and error, but if this is all you have to connect to the internet and you really want to get online then it will be worth the effort. Hope this helps.

My Dell Dimensio 2400 keeps on hangin up when surfing theinternet

Sounds like your computer is lagging while surfing. Really nothing you can do to completely fix it. The older the PC gets and the more advance the www gets there is going to be problems. Reason why, is because no matter how good your internet connection is or how fast that does not matt because if the computer can't support it then its gonna lag and freeze up well surfing. But, the first thing I would do is open up internet explore and click on tools and internet options. Clean out the cookies, temp files and everything that you can on that window. Second run a disk clean up, which is in your start menu, apps and system tools. Let that run and then make sure all little boxes are checked in the window and click clean/ok. That will clean out alot f things that could be slowing the PC down and making it lag. If its still doing what you have explained then I would run a registry cleaner. Can find one online. If all that fails, then I'm sorry but you will need to do some upgrading to your PC. Well good luck.

Xbox 360 live on wireless router

In theory you should be able to "share" your internet connection. I use a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router and I have a Linksys Game adapter on my son's 360. He has not complained about lag or slow server times unless other intensive bandwidth is being used.

360 Connection

it means u where disconnected from teh router your xbox was connected to.. id try a thicker cat 5 cable(ethernet). it also means u could have a weak connection to the live servers, like alot of ur connection speed is being hoged by another computer. cuz my friend has a hp desktop that takes majority of his bandwidth and it really lags him down on live.. that usually means disconnected is all. or the host cancled the game, like backed out.

Att 2wire wireless and dlink

the only thing you need for connecting 360 to wireless is an Internet connection, an 802.11G wireless router, and a wifi adapter that connects to your 360. They have these at walmart or any gaming store. I suggest giving your 2-Wire back to ATT! NOT QUALITY. Especially for gaming.
I myself prefer my box to be hard wired as lag is far less. BUT..for wifi
Get a Linksys Router and XBox brand wifi adapter for 360. Also google xbox connect. Instead of paying for LIVE

Goin crazy

well please explain more clearly your connection so i can help you better. and about your verizon... it depends what type of verizon connection you have and i belive you said you have DSL. if you are trying to play games such as Gears of War where there is a large reliance on the host's connection you will definitly want a faster connection such as broadband or the new verizon FIOS which will alow you to support all of the players in your game without a large amount of lag factoring into the game play. and nobody likes a laggy connection.
