have dell 1555 with Vista Home Premium. Have MSN as homepage. Now get broken link to home page and cannot get to msn.com. Gives me error related to dell v14 msn. any known problems or solutions?
If the web cam is working normally with other web cam applications but MSN then it's required to configure MSN to use the web cam. Please follow the steps given below to configure MSN to use the web cam.
(i) Please ensure that the web cam is turned ON. (ii) Then, double click the MSN icon and log on. (iii) Click on the Tools menu, then click on the audio/video tuning wizard. Then, click Next to start the wizard. (iv) On the first wizard page, under Camera, click the web cam then click Next.
Performing all the above steps will configure MSN to use with the web cam. In order to start a video conversation, follow the steps given below after signing in MSN: (a) Click Action, then point to audio/video. (b) Then, click start a video conversation. (c) Select a contact from "My contacts" page then OK.
you do not need another driver version for your camera unless you upgraded from xp to vista ...if you only updated the MSN program and it works with other IM programs...it means that the problem is the MSN ...try to reinstall the program ...or to see if there are any settings you skipped... let me know more about ...
u have to install driver of ur web cam....then in the setting of MSN messanger u should select ur caputering device (ur web cam model)then aplly...MSN will connect to ur webcam
