Quick cam
Hi,
First verify that your camera is plug in to your USB port, likewise check if it is correctly installed by right clicking on My Computer, click on Properties, click on Hardware tab, click on Device Manager Button, expand your Imaging Devices, see if your camera is listed. If it is,make sure it does not have any yellow or red mark.
In Control Panel, go to Scanner and Cameras, right click on your camera, Properties, click Test Scanners and Camera button, Windows will perform a diagnostic test.
Left click on My Computer, under Scanners * Cameras, click on your camera. You should be able to view what your camera is seeing.
If you're using Yahoo Messenger, click on Messenger, scroll down to and click My Webcam. In the camera view window, click on File, Preferences. In the Yahoo Messnger Preferences, scroll down to and click WebCam. Click on Camera Source button, choose your camera, OK. Click on Camera Settings button, adjust Camera Controls to your preference, Apply, OK.
If the camera is not in any of the four above, you may need to re-install using the CD that came with the camera.
Good luck and post back how things are and/or should you need further information.
kind regards.
