Power on printer. Open fron top door. Gently pull forward on color cartridge to dislodge. After replacing with new unit an alighnment should be performed.

Windows 7 should have the correct driver built in, but if not; you can use the generic deskjet driver, any 6XX driver, and I think the 870c and 970c work as well.
its the problem in the main board of the printer that has shorted out the new colour and black cartridge in your printer which you installed.or may be one out of them.it happens some time.so you will have replace the cartridges 1 by 1 with new cartridge and check out.if still the problem then replace the board.that costs $12 plus shipping.
mostly the cartridges have shorted out and replacing the cartridges will solve.
You have either a clogged colour print head or a non-functioning print cartridge (only one colour working). If the printer has separate cartridges for different colours (and black) you can do a partial swap, replacing the ones that have failed, but start by running the command CLEAN PRINT HEADS from the printer options or controller panel, and watch for the quality to improve. You may have to clean the heads two or three times. If no change in the quality after two flushes, replace the cartridges with new ones.
