How can i add multiple main accounts in my outlook i tried but i cant access rediffmail.com

To set up Windows Live Hotmail as a POP account in Outlook:

1. Select Tools > Account Settings from the menu in Outlook.
2. Go to the Email tab.
3. Click New.
4. Make sure Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP is selected.
5. Click Next.
6. Type your name as you want it to appear in outgoing email under Your Name.

You need to setup the office (Outlook) email accounts again. Try looking at these (Windows & Mac, respectively).

When you add your email account to your client, ie outlook, thunderbird, etc, you can select the record and port (pop-110 smtp-25) and the server name would be the MX record listing for that domain.

With the user and password set you will be able to add your email account.

Now if you run into issues I would contact your hosting provider to determine any specific settings on how to add the email accounts. They may have FAQ pages like this(example) : How do set up my Outlook and Outlook Express for Imail SMTP authentication...

No, you cannot use Yahoo in place of Windows Live. They are independent and so they have different programs eg. Yahoo! Messenger for yahoo and Window Messenger for Windows Live. Even if you would like to access both of them in one program, you cannot access them together, eg. You cannot view Yahoo Mails from Windows Live Mail and vise versa. But there's a way that you can add multiple accounts in Microsoft Outlook or Windows Live Mail. When I say this, I don't mean you are actually accessing Yahoo from Windows Live or vise versa but you can access yahoo mails from Windows Live Mail or Microsoft Outlook. Set up POP 3 for Outlook Express
Outlook Express allows you to add a new email account to your existing profile. This means you do not have to replace your current settings in order to send and receive Rediffmail messages.

* Choose 'Accounts' > 'Mail' > 'Add' > 'Mail
* In the 'Display Name', type your name and click 'Next'.
* In the Email ID box, type your Rediffmail ID.
* Select "POP3" to answer the question "My incoming mail server is a..."
* In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server box, type "pop.rediffmail.com"
* In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type "smtp.rediffmail.com"
* Click "Next."
* In the Account Name box, type your Rediffmail ID
* In the Password box, type your Rediffmail Password.
* If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the "Remember password" box.
* Do not check the boxes labelled "Log on using Secure..."
* Click "Next."
* Click "Finish."

Follow the steps below to Setup Rediffmail in Outlook 2007

Open Outlook 2007
From the Tools menu - choose Accounts Settings.
From the Window under Email - Click the NEW button
Choose first option ( Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and clik Next
Type your name in Name field
Type your rediff email address ( complete email id with @rediffmail.com ) and password and click Next button

The POP3 is pop.rediffmail.com and Outgoing mail (SMTP) type smtp.rediffmail.com
Click Next. In the Account Name box, type your Rediffmail address In the Password box, type your Rediffmail Password.
If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the Remember password box.
Do not check the boxes labelled Log on using Secure... Click Next. Click Finish.

To Receive Emails - Press the Send/Receive button on top

By the sounds of it you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010
to download your email from sites like hotmail and Yahoo you need POP3 not Exchange. Exchange is a Microsoft Email server used by companies.

to remove the exchange section in outlook you need to go to the "Configuration Panel" then click on "Mail" in there you will have a profile called "Outlook" click on "Email acounts" and remove the item that says "Exchange" then click "Add " tick the box "Manually selct settings" select POP3 and add the details for your email as per their instructions

To Configue the Radiffmail you need to know the outgoing and incoming mail server of rediffmail..first of go to tools then add new account you need to enter your email address and password. then select manually configure outlook then you need to enter the incoming and outgoing mail server, if you dont have the info then you need to contact rediffmail.

If you have access to the other computer you can go to the Outlook Express (OE) menu - under Tools (I think) you will find the accounts option,

Open that and select your email acount and then select modify / Edit depends on your version.

Copy down the settings like pop3 server address and SMTP, your username and password and

then enter those details on the new computer's OE accounts section click on Add New Email Account

If you do not have access then try this.

Go to OE Tools->Accounts (may be under different menu)

Click add new Account
Enter the details it asks for
pop3 and SMTP servers are usually standardised
So if your email address is [email protected]
pop3 will either be [email protected] or [email protected]
the SMTP server will either be [email protected]
or [email protected]

If you are connecting to hotmail then you will not get access to your email via OE anymore - you need to use Windows Live Mail or MS Outlook with the Outlook Mail Connector - available from MS.

you need to configure pop3 and smtp inorder to use the rediffmail. If you have the pop3 and smtp of rediffmail then configure and things should be fine. Also make sure there are few settings that needs addtional settings like smtp sometimes may require password for outgoing mails this may also be additional setting.
