Your treadmill is in "Demonstration mode".
Here are the instructions to shut it off.
First you must enter "Information mode".
To select the information mode, hold down the Stop
button whilst inserting the key into the console. When
the information mode is selected, the following information
will be shown:
Total number ofhours that the treadmill has been used.
The Distance/Incline display will show the total number of miles.
An "E," for English miles, or an "M," for metric kilometres.
If a "d" appears in the display, the console is in the "demo" mode.
Press the Speed - button so the Heart Rate/Calories display is blank.
To exit the information mode, remove the key from the console.
Please be advised, when the safety key is removed THE TREADMILL IS NOT SHUT OFF, only the console is shut off. You must turn the machine off using the power switch in the front of the machine near the power cord, or I recommend purchasing a power bar with a power switch and turning the power off at the power bar.
