No windows vista lan/ethernet driver available

I am not sure if the motherboard has been certified for Win7.

However the Vista LAN drivers are available from this site.

Intel's downloads page for your board is here. The board is discontinued, so they haven't updated all the drivers for Windows 7. These are the LAN drivers for Vista, which is all they offer. If Windows 7 doesn't recognize the LAN on its own, you can try the Vista drivers. Sometimes Vista drivers work with Windows 7, but if they don't you will need to use a new adapter compatible with Windows 7. You can get a PCI card and install it inside the case, or get a USB Ethernet adapter which you can plug in without opening the case.

This system comes preinstalled with Windows XP and only XP drivers a re available for download. They are not guaranteed to work with Win 7 or Vista but may.

The Ethernet driver or LAN (realtec) driver can be downloaded by clicking here.

1. Its a zip file, extract it in any folder.
2. There are three files, one of which is .INF file.
3. To install the LAN driver open Device Manager from Control Panel.
4. Locate the ethernet controller.
5. Right-click on it and select Upgrade Driver.
6. Choose to install manually.
7. Then select pick driver from computer.
8. Browse to the folder and point the installation to the INF file. It will install it automatically.

You can also find other (audio, video etc) drivers on this website. Just select your desired computer from the list.

Go to Toshiba support pages (click here), select your operating system to see all the drivers available for you computer model and look for LAN Driver (Realtek LAN Driver) .

do you have a different operating system - didn't see the LAN drivers for vista available on that site - POST back if you don't have XP and provide details of your operating system version

P4M800pro LAN CARD are no longer available driver for Windows Vista, all you have to do is to buy a new LAN CARD Vista ready.
Actually this motherboard are only have its own lan driver available for 98/2K/XP/2003 but for VISTA i think not.

Go to the Acer WEB site to download the LAN drivers you need, make sure it is Windows XP or Vista version for your particular MODEL laptop.

These updates should sort out ethernet problems.

If these don't work or you have Wireless LAN, here is the Wireless LAN driver.

visit intel website to see if they have drivers for your ethernet card specifically for Vista. If they do, then download and save so that when Vista sees card and says it cannot finf driver you will be able to install afterwards.
