Lift the Scanning Unit (Cover) (A) and fix it with the Scanning Unit Support (D). If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response Thanks, Joe
The FINE Cartridge Holder (F) moves to the installation position.
Close the Document Cover (E) and lift it with the Scanning Unit (Cover).
Open the Ink Cartridge Locking Cover on the right side.
Pinch firmly and pull up the cover.
Remove the Black FINE
Cartridge from its package.
Pull the orange protective tape in the direction of the
arrow and remove it gently.
Place the Black FINE Cartridge into the right slot
Push down on the middle of the Ink Cartridge Locking Cover until you hear a click to close it
completely.
View the Ink Cartridge Locking Cover straight on and check that it is locked correctly (not at an angle).
Insert the Color FINE Cartridge into
the left FINE Cartridge Holder in the
same way.
Lift the Scanning Unit (Cover) slightly and fold the Scanning Unit Support, then gently close the Scanning Unit (Cover).
Once you have installed the FINE Cartridges, do not remove them unnecessarily.
If the Alarm lamp (L) lights orange, make sure that the FINE Cartridges are correctly installed.

Click on the below link, which will direct you to Canon's site where they store the manuals -
Canon Pixma MP250
If you select the on-screen manual for your operating system (either Windows or Mac OS) it will take you to a downloads screen. About 3/4 of the way down is a tick-box Download - click to select, then a red word Download will appear. Click on this and you will download a file which when run will be the manual for the product which includes instructions on how to change the ink cartridges.
Thx, if this solution helps please rate :)
Hi,
How much time you have done refilling a same cartridge? You shouldn't
refill a same cartridge more than three times. Make sure that the cartridges
are OK. May be the head of the cartridges are not in good condition. You may
need to replace cartridge. Check that you have installed the cartridges
properly or reinstall it. Align the cartridges. If it doesn't solve your
problem then you have to replace the cartridges. Using original cartridge
always is recommended.
