It shows that magnetron is not operating, check high voltage diode grounded from the high voltage capacitor by replacing the same with same specification,if problem remains then check connection leads connected with magnetron for loose or corrosion, finally check by replacing the magnetron.

It doesnt heagt food

If everything else is working there are three common issues, magnetron,"heats food" high voltage diode, and the high voltage capacitor, "usually shorts" depending on age, probably more practical to replace microwave oven.

MY MICROWAVE DOESNT HEAT UP FOOD JUST COOKS

Hi.

The wave emitting part inside the microwave oven is called the magnetron. The waves emitted by the magnetron generate heat in food. When the microwave is running, turntable turns and light comes on but there is no heat it means that either the magnetron is faulty or the magnetron is not getting power. When the magnetron is not getting power parts such as the high voltage diode or capacitor must be tested or replaced. Testing and repair must be carried by a technician. Here some general troubleshooting: http://www.fixya.com/support/r2096491-microwave_works_normally_but_not_heat

Ge over range microwave runs but doesnt heat

If it does not heat and makes a loud buzzing sound, it usually means that the magnetron has failed. It the part that generatest the microwaves that heat the food. Replacement costs for magnetrons is almost as much as a new oven, so it rarely makes sense to fix. Sorry.

My delonghi 800w microwave oven works but does not heat up food

If your handy with getting the cover off and looking inside... check the obvious.
I suspect :
fuse
thermister
relay
If both microwave and Heating elements dont work, then I will assume the magnetron is ok, ans we are dealing with a high voltage issue... and you will need at best... a volt meter and or neon troublelight...
moust appliances have a simple schematic inside... I would start with the heating element first... trace wiring back to circuit board... usually one side of the heating element is connected to the white wire (neutral) and live (Hot) side is controlled thru the circuit board... so finding the neutral should be easy... then trace with neon light or voltmeter...

I know easy for me to say... but with everything else working... it doesnt seem to be the microprocessor that controlls the unit...

Microwave doesnt heat food

Microwave not heating problems are the result of one or more of the following problems -

1) Bad fuse
2) Bad diode
3) Bad capacitor
4) Bad transformer
5) Bad magnetron.

You would need to have special equipment to test the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th items.

Convection oven problem

Most of the time the magnetron is defective if the food is not heating up.
In some cases there is a defective low power transformer or other componenents associated with the magnetron.
I would suggest to check the owners manual under the warranty section. Sometimes the magnetron has 5 years warranty.
Good Luck.
