I dont have vista .i have xp .is there a fix for windows xp?current error message reads adobe/go/tn_19166.

Adobe Flash Player failed to install.

When upgrading to a newer version of Adobe Flash Player, it (AFP), will not install if there is a previous version installed.

AND, it will Not automatically uninstall the older version.

Use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool. After it is finished, go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, download, and install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool, (From Adobe Flash Player Support),

My farmville game almost 98% but never complete.

Hi.
Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the issue is due to the Adobe Flash Player.
All the Games on Facebook require Adobe Flash player.
Hence, it would be better to install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player.
Before installing the latest version, it is required to un-install the version which is already installed in the Computer.
Then, install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player.
You may un-install the older version of the Adobe Flash Player by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature.
Once you have un-installed the older version of the Flash player, then you may install the latest version.
Link to download the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player.
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/10/flashplayer_10_ax_debug.exe
Please click on the above link to download the Adobe Flash Player.
Please un-install the older version of the Flash player and then install the latest one.
Performing the above mentioned steps should resolve the issue.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to contact for further information and assistance.

I keep getting a pop up saying something about macromedia flash player 8..what is this and why does it appear?

Macromedia Flash Player was installed on your computer at some stage. This player is used by a few WEB sites which displays movie like (Flash) files. When you go to a WEB site which displays Flash files, Macromedia can detect an older version of the Flash Player and prompts you to install a latest version of the Flash Player.

Adobe flash player installation problems

You've been bitten by the Vista virus. You can not automatically install it with a firewall enabled. Download the installer, exit your browser, and then run the installer locally as admin.
