SOURCE: Convection oven not working properly???
your correct the only difference between a regular oven and a convection oven is that it has a fan.when you open the oven door the fan should be spinning to a stop if this is not the case you may have a problem with the fan.

f-5 means the clock/oven control is bad. the only way to fix this is to replace the oven control
SOURCE: Oven quit, bake not working, replaced thermostat, now broil works, still no bake
Your problem may be the bake relay on the clock or wiring.try changing that
SOURCE: After running self cleaning cycle, oven won't heat.
I own a similar range. As you can imagine I was dismayed to find out that my $6000 heap can't run a clean cycle, unless of course you just don't want to use your oven again. let me give you a tip something WILL break on your oven every time you use the self cleaning "feature".
The first time I used the self cleaning feature the board burnt up, I asumed hat this was a fluke. The second time the pvertemp sensor burnt out. The next few times that I was brave enough to try it the overtemp sensor triggered this is what I hope has gone wrong with yours since while it's not easy or convenient to fix it is free. If you pull out your range and remove the backsplash and then the rear panel there should be a breaker with a button you can push to reset. On mine it is located near the top of the oven compartment on the left side near the middle. I hope that works for you and you will soon learn as I have after doing this a few times that the self cleaning cycle is just not worth it. It willdo this every time and it really is just easier to use easy off and clean the oven by hand. I realize that is not what you had in mind doing when you bought a luxury Item like a 36" thermador range, but I hope you don't have to hate yours as much as I hate mine.
SOURCE: Oven top element does not come on when baking
