I was wiping the front buttons, and hit self clean ,by accident, hit cancel. Oven stopped working, and now only a timer will show, cut power 2x ,and now have control of the oven light..but the bake and broil and temp will not respond. nothing responds except the timer,but cannot even set time on the timer, as the temp , and bake and broil no longer respond

Unplug the power and cancel it. Never Ever use the self clean feature. We see damage here every couple of weeks. The worst was a burned control board on an oven that all parts were obsolete, so the self clean cost a thousand bucks!

From my understanding your hit the clean button on your Frigidaire wall oven and now the door will not open. I would hold down the cancel button for at least ten seconds, this should unlock the door. If that does not help I would recommend disconnecting power from your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this information was helpful to some degree. -Matt

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

Push and hold the Cancel/Off button for 10 seconds.

The red key sign is a lock against children. To cancel it you have to hold the two buttons at the same time for 5 seconds (you activate it the same way).

The STOP sign appears after the cooker switches of after a power cut. You just have to press the left button, and, using the right knob, set the time.

I had the same problem on my Kenmore Electric Range. Door would not unlock. Tried pressing "Off" for multiple seconds, but still would not unlock. No error codes. Clock was displaying normally. Finally decided to try running it thru the self cleaning operation to get it to cycle thru locking and unlocking the door. When I started self clean, the door automatically went thru the auto lock and "locked" appeared in the display. I then hit "Off" to clear it and stop the cleaning cycle. The door then unlocked as normal!

what do you mean locked accidently if if the door is locked and 3hrs is on the display hit start then cancel if the door showes locked and is not (you can still open the door)push in on the door switch by hand and push cancel let me know
