The flashing lights on the controller mean the guitar is not connecting to the wireless usb dongle connected to the PS3.

1. Verify that the wireless box is plugged in firmly to the usb port on the front of the PS3.

2. If that doesn't work, look on the wireless usb dongle for the guitar hero guitar controller. (It should be a black box with the guitar hero logo on it. You will find a small push button on the dongle. (Make sure your PS3 is turned on, though your guitar hero game does not have to be open. It may be a good idea to have the game running, so you can test your guitar or make sure it is really working). Press and hold the button on the wireless usb dongle for a few seconds. Five seconds should be enough. Doing this attempts to re-connect the dongle and the controller. You will know when the connection is good when the red lights on the controller go steady, as well as the LED on the small button you pressed on the wireless usb dongle. If either lights continue to blink, there is a connection problem still.

3. Try changing the batteries in the guitar controller. Weak batteries tend to cause connection issues.

4. Test the wireless usb dongle and controller with another PS3. This will rule out an issue with your PS3 system.

5. If the problem still occurs on another PS3, the wireless dongle may have gone bad. (This does happen rarely.) Replacements are cheap to find on ebay

Where can I get an electric guitar for my son who is 5. Nothing too fancy but a few lights and stuff on it would be good.

Education Toys Planet have some really nice musical stuff. They have an electric guitar that is suitable for kids age 3 upwards. It has some flashing lights etc and is easy to play.

I cant figure out how to sync my guitar to play guitar hero

First of all make sure your guitar hero controller turns on and flash's. Next, you will see at the bottom of the guitar hero controller there is a little button. On your Xbox 360 there should also be a syncbutton which you use to sync controllers. Hold the sync button down on your Xbox and at the same time on your guitar hero controller as well. You should see that the lights on your xbox and controller spin round and then flash a few time in till displaying one light next to the appropriate number. Please note that you cannot use a Rock band controller on Guitar hero. If You controller still does not connect then try changing the batteries in case they are low, but if the problem continues to persist then you shall have to call Xbox customer support by going to www.Xbox.co.uk .

We have a play station 2, and purchased the Guitar heros world tour game with it. Everything worked fine , then we purchased the guitar hero legends of rock and everything worked fine for a little while,...

i would suggest getting a new guitar for the Guitar Hero. if you do such things as excessively or harshefully drop it, wrap/ overextend the cord as to tearing the inside copper away causing a faulty electrical current, etc. damaging it, or applying too much pressure to the buttons. these will result in a malfunctioning guitar themed controller. bu a new one.

My first guitar works perfect. The second, with my second wii controler does not works. All light flashing on the controler.Nothing happens

I would try putting the controller that you know works into the 2nd guitar. If the guitar works with the good controller then you will know that it's an issue with your other controller opposed to there being a problem with the 2nd guitar.

Please correct me if i'm wrong and misunderstanding you.

I would also make sure that the controller that keeps flashing works without any guitar. Just try playing one of your other games that doesn't require the guitar - that way you know it works. If it keeps flashing like that then we need to advance to some other steps.

I think that the lights flashing probably means that the remote isn't being recognized by the system.

I know that sometimes if the battery is really low the remote will flash and then shut off; I would definately just try replacing the batteries to see if that helps as well. (just to eliminate some of the more simple possibilities)

Let me know how this all plays out for you - I can always dig deeper into the problem if I didn't help you.

Wii Rockband guitar lights keep blinking

Ensure that the receiver is plugged in to the USB port in back of the Wii Console. If the light on the receiver is blinking, too, then with the Guitar turned on, press the white button on the receiver.

Rock Band guitar for xbox 360 stopped working

On the face of your 360 is a little round button that tells the system to search for wireless controllers. Push it at the same time you push the connect button on your guitar or drums. I figured this out after returning two other systems to Wal-Mart.... They really should put this info in the instructions somewhere! Tell me if it works for you guys too.
