How do i permanently keep demo mode off on my JVC car cd player? Everytime I remove the fascia it resets the settings and the demo mode comes back on. The model I have is the KD-R711. Thanks

its in the menu setting under demo on /off put to off.

You most likely have the 12 volt permanent connected to the switched supply lead you need to identify which wire requires the permanent and the wire that requires 12 volt switched this will only appear when you turn your car key to acc position , it's normally a yellow or orange wire your looking for but check your models schematic.

My jvc is stuck in "Cancel Demo" mode. It blinks on and off with this message, and not a single button respons. I have to reset the radio and hope for the best.. Sometimes it is good for months, and than have the issue for days again

Press and hold the SEL button until DEMO appears. Use the up/down buttons on the right hand side of fascia to scroll down to clock adjust, and use the circular dial to adjust the time

If this cd player has a removal fascia then try..

Carefully inspect the the electrical contacts on the fasica and the cd player. If it has got dirt on them then CAREFULLY CAREFULLY clean with cotton swab dabbed in cleaning Alcohol.

Press the Selection button about 3 seconds
When the Demo On mode appears
Turn the VOLUME dial until Demo Off appears
Press the Selection button again to get out of this mode.
Done.

Hold down the "SEL" button, and use the CD track skip button to scroll to where the display says "DEMO," and use the volume knob to change the setting to "OFF." Push SEL again and you're good to go.

It sounds like its stuck in "demo mode" Look for a user menu for making clock changes,illumination etc...and turn off the scrolling demo mode...

I HAVE SAME PROBLEM. AFTER I REPLACED MY DEAD BATTERY MY AIWA CDC-X304 IS STUCK IN THE DEMO MODE. ONLY CD WORKS BUT ALL BUTTONS ON FACING DO NOT RESPOND. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RESET.
