From the remote control ONLY:

Press MUTING to mute the sound through all

speakers and headphones connected.

"MUTING" appears on the display and the

volume turns off (the volume level indicator goes

off).

To restore the sound, press MUTING again so that "OFF" appears

on the display.

• Turning MASTER VOLUME on the front panel or pressing
VOLUME +/- on the remote control also restores the sound.

I got this sub used nothing else. connected it to my tv and fine. loud and clear but I hooked speakers up to it thinking they would play and they dont...only the sub. Am I missing something?

Are you bridging your speakers to your subwoofer? Or do you have them running off of a amplifier? If your bridging it from your subwoofer it will only send out subwoofer frequencies. Or if you have it running off of an amplifier, your resistance on your speaker coils might be too high, or low.

Hello- I have my denon receiver connected to my tv with 2 front speaker,2 surround and center channel along with the sub. The problem is that when i play a blue ray, all my speakers produce sound including...

I need to know the quality of the speakers on the TV. Try unplugging it from the speakers on the TV and plug it into the souround sound speakers only and see if it plays differently. Double check your sourround sound and makes sure you did not reverse a wire.

I have no sound coming from surround speakers and sub.

Some surround modes switch speakers on or off as required. It's possible that the inputs you are using have settings that remember your previous settings, ie: no sub and surround speakers. Check the inputs and also make certain that whatever is connected to them is putting out Dolby signals.

Subwoofer turns on and is hooked up, but no sound.

The signal don't seems to be present to the sub input.
Try change the wire betwen the audio system and the subwoofer.

Rear speakers not working

Your FM tuner will only generate sound from the front sepakers. CD's, Tape, and I guess mp3 player, as well, will only play through the front speakers.
I've included a link for the manual. The audio on this rig is pretty complex. read through the info, especially pages 11,12,13, and play with the audio controls.

No sound from TV thru sony bravia hdx576wf; DVD & CD audio ok.

Could be a sync calibration issue. Try to divert the TV sound to another input source on the Hometheatre system if possible, if it is a go then maybe the TV audio needs to be recalibrated. Make sure TV audio setup menu option has not changed also.

Rx-v463, no sound from rear speakers, and hookups

Sounds like an internal software issue dealing with this device.you may have to return it to the manufacture for this repair.

Cant get rear speakers to Work AVR 745 7.2 Surround!!!

Another way to solve this rear speakers problems is to go to the equalizer and have the system recognizes the sound coming out of all speakers. The AVR 745 comes with a microphone on the stick, using that to run the manual equalizer. It is the manual equalizer will set the rear speakers.

Denon reciever avr-487

If your tv is putting out mono you will only get the center and sub speakers. This can be because the tv is only mono, or the output is set to mono in a menu of the tv. If you have cable or sat run the digital audio out to you receiver; it usually sound better that way anyhow. Set your receiver to Dolby mode for best sound.
