I need a manual for my white sewing machine. The model # is 734 serial # 14356. I hope you can help me to find one. I need the manual that shows instructions for the machine. I moved and lost the booklet. Thanks for any help you can give me....Janice Rininger

Singer built many of the White sewing machines, including the 1710. The Singer support site, https://www.singer.com/support , has the manual available as a PDF. The current link to the manual is https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-sewing/image/upload/fl_attachment/Singer-Website-Library/outdated_product/1101_white-1710-x.pdf . If you prefer a print copy, you can order one from https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/products/instruction-manual-white-1710 , print it yourself or get it printed at any print shop (Kinko's, UPS Store, etc.). For the last option, take the PDF to the shop on a USB flash drive or submit it electronically.

The switch button hides on the rear of the machine on the back of the Face Plate. Page 4/5 of the manual refers and is labelled '24'.

Unless it is an older machine that did not have a model number, the serial number may not be helpful in locating a manual.

I think White sewing machines are part of the Singer group.
There is a free manual download available for the W955 (the W is for White) on the Sinnger website.
