No buttona work on the board just says 88 - Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer

i don't work on this brand but from what you describe you have a bad mother board,when you unplug it that's what you are resetting,your model number doesn't show up so i can't give you a part number.

F9-88 is a printer board communication error, either printer board has failed or the memory chip is no longer working. try unplugging printer cable and rebooting machine, or unplugging machine for 10 seconds and powering up again to reset the code.

The ASCO 165 does not switch the home onto the generator during testing / exercise. Unless you manually press the test buttona nd hold. If the power goes and the generator starts, look at the two LED's on front and make sure the generator LED is lit, if it is then the transfer switch is accepting the generator power quality and should switch, if it does not, with everything off generator etc, kill the main breaker feeding the ATS, if the generator starts and it still does not switch you have a board, or position of siwtch micro switch, or rectifier problem in the ASCO. You have already done the test by unplugging the unit to reset the main board and it still will revert back to 88:88 so the board will need to be replaced. Here is the board to order.

reads 88 deg/ ok is frig that warm also .. if so replace the p c control as it has gone bad . in some models they call it a jazz board . / there is a update and it works much better .. mm

You can try unplugging , wait a few minutes , and plugging back in . If that doesn't work , then the main control board , located on the back of the refrig ( behind an 8 " X 10 " panel ) , was damaged by the power surge , and needs to be replaced .

Hello there:
when you replaced the hard dive did you go into the bios and make sure that the harddrive was recognized and set up as the primary drive.
also you may be able to get around this by pressing the reset buttona on the back of the unit and hold in and turn on the power at the same time
than release after 10 seconds and if this still doesent work try to boot by pressing the f12 key as it starts up ok?
