To transfer bookmarks from Firefox to Safari on Mac OS, the first thing we need to do is export bookmarks from Firefox. Check out the content below to see how to export bookmarks from Firefox to Safari.
Step 1. Export bookmarks from Firefox
1. Launch Firefox and Select Organize Bookmarks.
2. When the bookmarks organizer window pops up, click Import and Backup.

3. On the following pop-up, select Export HTML.

4. On the following window, Select a folder to save the bookmarks in and click Save.
Above is the first part, if you want to import bookmarks from Firefox to Safari, there's another thing you need to do.
Step 2. Import Firefox bookmarks to Safari
1. Launch Safari.
2. On the menu bar, select File>Import From>Bookmarks HTML File, and then select the Firefox bookmarks you just exported.

Note: You can also directly select Google Chrome or Firefox to directly import bookmarks from Firefox to Safari without doing Step 1. But if the Firefox bookmarks you want to import to Safari is on another Mac computer, you'll have to export those Firefox bookmarks first.

Hello. To import your bookmarks from your Firefox browser, choose "organze bookmarks" on the Bookmarks drop down menu at the top part of your firefox browser (or alternatively use ctrl+shift+B). This will open another window labeled "Library"; where all your bookmarks will be shown. From the "import and backup" drop down menu select "export HTML.."; a window pops up that will allow you to export/save your bookmark to a preferred location (Desktop, preferably). After which, open Safari, hit "File" then choose "import bookmarks" and just select the file that you earlier saved.

I have multirow toobar installed for firefox. Why does it show only one row?

The add-on limits the number of lines to display. To change this, select "Tools" - "Add-ons", and then click the "Options" button underneath "MultirowBookmarksToolbar".

I have an IMAC and all of a sudden yesterday I cannot scroll down on facebook account!

Ruth, the solution would be to reset firefox back to its factory settings. First you will want to export your favorites and make sure that you have all your passwords for all your favorite sites documents.

To back up your bookmarks you will:
1. Click on Bookmarks under the bookmarks menu or under the orange firefox menu in the upper left hand corner.
2. Click on "Import and Backup" this menu will allow you to export your bookmarks to an HTML file, save that to your desktop.

Now that we have your bookmarks saved we can reset your browser.
1. Click on the help menu or in the upper left hand corner click on the firefox menu then help.
2. Under the help menu you will click on Troubleshooting information.
3. On the new window that opened you will see in the upper right hand corner a button that says "Reset FireFox" you will click that button and allow it to complete.

That will restore FireFox to it's original settings, allowing all your pages to load correctly.

To restore your bookmarks you will
1. Click on the bookmarks menu or the orange FireFox menu in the upper left hand corner select bookmarks.
2. Click on show all bookmarks.
3. Click on import and backup
4. select your backup file on the desktop.
That will restore all your bookmarks to your browser.

I hope this helps, please let me know the outcome.

I would like to delete some unwanted bookmarks

Which browser are you using? Safari, Firefox, Chrome?
In each browser it varies slightly, but basically just click on Bookmarks menu to show all bookmarks. If you are using a standard Mac mouse or touchpad, use 2 fingers to click on the offending bookmark and from the menu that appears select delete, send to trash, etc. If you are using a PC type mouse. click the right mouse button and select the appropriate delete option.

2. In the import/export wizard select "Import from another browser" then click next.

3. Then choose Firefox, click import.

4. Finally click finish.

How do I delete old Mac bookmarks

I assume you are speaking of browser bookmarks.
In Safari, you can use the "Reset Safari" option under the Safari menu, and choose bookmarks.
In Firefox, you can go to the bookmarks list, select all, and delete all.
If you are using another browser, the operation should be similar to Firefox.

I disabled my book mark and tools bar ,how do i restore it on firefox, vista

Hi,
Replace your current bookmarks with a backup copy by opening the Firefox 3 Library window and using the "Restore" feature ("Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Restore..." ). You can select one of the five dated backups that Firefox automatically creates or you can use the "Choose File..." option to select another bookmark backup file

Thank you
