How do i remove the safegaurd mode from camera when turned on
1. The drum cannot be started or drum rotation is stopped
because tape transport load is too high.
1) Tape tension is extremely high.
2) The tape is damaged or soiled with grease, etc.
2. The DRUM FG signal is not received by the syscon
CPU.
1) Disconnection in the middle of the signal line.
2) Failure of the DRUM FG pulse generator (hall element).
3. No drum control voltage is supplied to the MDA.
4. No power is supplied to the DRUM MDA.

JVC GR-D290 GR-D270 problem regarding cassette playing
Hello,
after inserting cassette when I am attempting to put it ON
it gives me error on screen saying "Unit in Safeguard Mode, Eject & Reinsert Tape" with 04 number.
probably error code.
could you pls offer me some kind of solution for this ?
and also any reliable location in India where I can get accessories for my camcorder ?
I need head cleaner and battery set for my camcorder... pls help me out.

my jvc camcorder(gr-d371U) has an 03 error message, safeguard mode....eject and reinssert tape.......problem is i can not eject tape.....i did drop the unit....I only want to salvage the family video ; ( please help
