Audio seems weak...how to increase volume

this is gotta be the largest complaint I hear from folks when they get a new flat screen , its not loud enough or the sound sounds muffled

flat screens are flat ! so theres no good way for mfg to put the speakers facing forward so sound has to hit the wall behind it first then gets directed forward to you ! (low/muffled)

sound bars help with this , but for true rich sound , id go with a video receiver amp combo , some of these even have built in dvd players , and arrange its speakers in a forward facing direction

I have a motorola razr v3 that i hear fine out of but others cant hear me

Hi,

You will have to get your cellphone repaired that is the only solution to fix this problem.IF it is under warranty then please get it replaced.
You can try taking the phone apart if you want and clean and reattached the connections to the speaker in the phone.

Good luck,
Please don't forget to rate the solution.

The audio output level is too low. How do i increase it? I have to turn the volume up on the TV almost maximum to hear a "normal" level of volume.

my experience says that the VCR/DVD recorder does NOT has a volume setting inside. Cables may be bad or connected to wrong input but most likely, the TV has a setting for the volume for any source and that is probably set to mid-range like on a PC sound control panel. Go the audio setup on the TV and see if you can adjust the level for each input.

Wont allow me to turn up input volume on gateway mt3705 call people on google voice they cant hear me i can hear them

Your microphone must be on Mute. Click on Speaker icon on the bottom right -> click on "Mixer" -> if you see any of the volumes muted increase their volume and see if problem is solved. Try using a headphone + mic that are made for chatting.

I connected my surround sound to the audio output on my samsung tv and it works fine. Of course I don't have an hdmi input on my surround sound system because its an older model, but it works great. Just got to put the surround sound to audio instead of dvd or tuner setting
