Have been using the Z600 printer for a long time. Just got a new Imac with Snow Leopard. Neither the computer nor the printer want to talk to each other. Anything I can do?

I regret to inform you that the printer doesn't have a driver for Macintosh operating system. It only works with Windows operating systems. Sorry

The answer above is ****. I have been using my Lexmark 600 on a MacBook Pro for three years. But since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, it won't run the printer. Haven't found a solution as of yet.

Unfortunately Snow Leopard requires a intel processor to work so the G5 imac will not be able to run the system.

Nikon Coolscan 9000 not working w Mac Snow Leopard 10.6+

You're not going to be happy with this answer:

Nikon has formally sworn off doing ANY future software updates for their scanners. They stopped at 10.4 (pre-Leopard)

Yes, there are a LOT of people VERY unhappy with this answer, but we're all kind of stuck with it.

Canon MP640 not responding to my mac

Did you install the software from the CD or did you download the driver? Are you using Snow Leopard?

If you have Snow Leopard and used the CD, you don't have the most recent drivers. Here is the link to the MP640 drivers. Remove the drivers currently on your imac and download and install from here, including the scanner driver and the MP Navigator (listed under Software).

Epson r320 printer w/ no advance settings when linked w/ new IMAC

I had the same problem when installing my Epson R300 onto my new iMac (Snow Leopard). The first install used the newest online driver from Epson. The printer symptoms were exactly like yours. Then I installed the Apple driver updates. It was seamless and now the printer settings can be accessed. Perhaps if you uninstalled (read about that on the Epson site first) and then downloaded the new factory driver, followed by the Apple update which will further update files, you might have some luck. Just a guess on my part. Best wishes.

I work with Mac OS (Snow Leopard) and my Mac don't recognize the Agfa Snapscan e25. What should I do? Regards

Snow Leopard has a bunch of drivers built in to control various printers.  If it doesn't recognize the printer, then you will have to go on Agfa's web site to see if they have a printer driver compatible with Snow Leopard.  Keep in mind that Snow Leopard is a new OS and that printer manufacturers will take some time to update their programs and drivers to run on it.  If you don't find a driver then, you got to use a different printer or downgrade your OS to one that will run the printer.
