Hi. Start with 2 scoops for every 4 cups of coffee, Then adjust from there, until you get the taste that you like.

I need to clean my capresso c1000. i can't find the instructions. i put a cleaning tablet into the ground coffee area, and ran the ground coffee button a few times. is that it?

No, first push the self clean button (hold until lights come on). Then pull the grounds unit and empty it, that will turn off one red light. Fill the water tank. Then drop the tablet. Then hit the ground coffee button. Cycle through and dump the grounds each time the grounds light illuminates.

When my Keurig one cup dispenses the hot water onto the filter the water goes everywhere (making a mess) but not through the coffee filter & grounds.

Possible clogged water output house. Question? Is the water going on the filter then overflowing? If so, the grind of the coffee might be to fine. Might have to have the grounds a little courser. To test put no coffee in and if flows through ok, then coffee is ground to fine, then just need to have it ground a little courser. Thanks, mike

I have a cuisinart grind & brew coffee pot that leaks when I put water in it. How can I open it to see where the water is coming from?

The Manual for your coffee maker can be found here:

http://www.cuisinart.ca/pdf/ibs/en/DGB-600BCC_en.pdf

'Leaks' are usually caused by overfilling either the water reservoir or the coffee basket or by coffee grounds interfering with a seal.

Make sure you perform a complete cleaning on your coffee maker making sure any contact points which need to seal are free of coffee grounds.

Instructions for removing the grinder and filter baskets are contained within your manual.
