Hi - I have an Amana front load NFW7200TW wash machine - the rubber door seal ring has come off - along with two metal bands. Wanting to put it back on myself, but I didn't see it come off, so don't know how it goes back on. Any ideas?
The ring is a clamp that keeps the rubber part, called the bellow, attached to the front panel of the washer. To reinstall hook the edge of the bellow around the lip of the opening in the front panel (the hole through which you put your laundry). Then take the clamp and seat it in the groove of the bellow behind the lip of the front panel. The spring on the clamp should pull the bellow tight to the opening of the panel.
