I was gone for a week. Upon my return, the Polaroid FLM 2632 tv will not power up. The breaker for the room that the tv is in was tripped. A storm may have caused the breaker to trip. The tv was connected to a surge protector. No other electronics connected to the circuit were affected. If the tv is damaged due to a power surge, is it cost effective to have the tv repaired?
Your power supply board needs to be REPAIRED not REPLACED, replacing the board will just make the problem happen again in two years or less, if you can use a screwdriver you can send me the board and I will repair it for less than it would cost you to do it yourself ($50) with the correct components.
