I have a janome overlocker and the right (green) looper keeps coming undone, I've threaded it according to the instructions but just can't get it to stay threaded. It's a nice machine otherwise but no good as it is. I'm thinking of taking it back to the shop if I can't get this fixed.

Same thing as above, the fourth thread keeps breaking and getting stuck and just won't work right:( I just bought it on Thursday.

Make sure all of your threads are in between the tension dials. Sounds that the machine isn't catching because of the tension. Good Luck

The machine is threaded incorrectly. Look at your video. That helped me the most. After 2 days of persistance, i finally got it. Now I'm very please with the machine.

Kenmore 385 #3 thread breaks

Try removing thread #3 from the tension altogether. If this doesn't work, then try using a different spool of thread. Some break easier than others. If this doesn't work, try rethreading your serger from the the beginning. Upper looper first, then lower looper, then needle. Test on scraps.

I have re-threaded, changed needles, adjusted the differential and cutting width but cannot sew a single seam without the stitches skipping, sometimes several in a row and sometimes only one.

SKIPPED STITCHES ON A SERGER

1. Is the needle bent or worn--replace

2. Is the needle inserted correctly into the needle holder--check needle

3. Is the Serger threaded correctly--rethread

4. Is the presser foot pressure right for the fabric--adjust
5. are the needles the correct ones for the serger
6. Possible timing problem--need to be checked at a sewing machine shop

I have a white speedylock differential 1600 serger. In moving, I've lost the cord and pedal. Where can I get a replacement cord/pedal?

These cord/pedal sets are available at http://www.sewingstyle.com/White-Sewing-Foot-Control.html
make sure that shape of the connector looks like that of your machine.

Thread keeps breaking

Your machine isn't threaded properly. Check to make sure #1, you have it threaded right and #2 the thread on all 4 spools is in between the tension dials. Good Luck and Hope this helps.
