Threading my whites superlock 2500 serger

You can get sewing machine manuals online at sewingmanuals.com. I didn't see the superlock 2500 but there were other superlocks. They may thread the same way.

I was sewing a minky

I think that you must have some of your fabric and lint in your machine. Take a brush ( I use a new paint brush and clean your machine looper areas really well, oil then Totally rethread, take your thread for each guide and treat it like floss going into all of the grooves so that they are seated properly. This should do it, getting your thread seated is the most common problem with overlockers not chaining.

Why my white speedylock serger is not staying threaded. It was said the timing is broken, can it be repaired

Depends whether the thread is breaking or pulling out.Usually, timing causes the threads to miss stitches. And, yes, timing can be repaired.Remove ALL the thread from the machine and rethread from the beginning. Be sure to ALWAYS raise the presser foot when threading. This releases the tension disks so the threads will seat completely. However, it also helps to give each thread a little tug and sometimes the thread will pop when it seats. If thead is pulling out, be sure to pull a lot (at least 6") of thread tail through before beginning to stitch. If the thread is breaking, check that it is threaded correctly and that each thread is threaded in the proper order (usually upper looper first, then lower looper with the thread draped OVER the upper looper). Threading in the wrong order will almost guarantee it will not work. Also check that the tensions are not set too tight. Generally, to start out, set all the tensions at the midway point....

How do I get a Service manual for an Industrial Sewing Machine

If the handwheel is really stiff and the machine is making awful noises, then your machine may need oiling. Don't know if this is the case with your industrial machine, but it may be something to consider.

Kenmore 385 #3 thread breaks

Try removing thread #3 from the tension altogether. If this doesn't work, then try using a different spool of thread. Some break easier than others. If this doesn't work, try rethreading your serger from the the beginning. Upper looper first, then lower looper, then needle. Test on scraps.

Treading my serger

When you thread the serger, your suppose to start threading the 3rd spool (left to right) first, then the 4th spool, then thread the 2nd spool which ends up in the second needle (left to right), There is a lever or bottom looper that the thread must go through before placing thread through the 2nd needle. Finally, the last spool to thread is the 1st spool (left to right). Follow the threading pattern and once you put the thread through the two loops that look like springs, turn the wheel at the right toward you until you can see like a lever with a ****, thread that **** from the back then put the thread through the machine to the right. Turn the knob to toward you again until the upper looper is showing, then you have the put your thread through the hole in that looper then through the first needle. You should now have 4 thread toward the back of your machine which you need to place under the presser foot and to the left side of the machine. There is also a VHS video that goes with the machine to help explain how to thread your serger. Also be sure that each spool of thread is in the tension of the upper colored tension wheels. If it is not, then your stitiches will be loose. Good luck and I hope this helps. I had to watch the video several times before I got it. If you don't have the video, try ebay for and perhaps you can obtain one. The video is Speedylock 1600, instructional video, USA Part #136000016, Perhaps you can contact White and see if they have one you could purchase.
Good Luck Serging!!!!
