Check your DNS and Mail server settings to make sure they are correct.
If your mail server uses authentication you will need to turn this on and input a user name and password for your mail server. To turn on SMTP authentication you must enter service mode and change switch settings. I would recommend contacting a local Konica Minolta deal and have a technician do this. If you change the wrong switch setting you will cause all kinds of problems.

Yes you need to go to the copier's web page and update the the password for the scan to email you do that bye placing the IP address of the copier in the URL box of google. Check out 100's of you tube videos . Just ask how to scan to email using my bizhub c360

Minolta Bizhub C353 fails scan to emails

Hi mmarsh1212,
When you say the bizhub fails Authorization, do you menat it fails Athentication?
If so, and I pressume your technician knows what he's doing, you have an issue with a password. I suggest you create an address for the bizhub on your email server and then re-setup the scanning to email credentials via the web browser direct to the machine.

Scan to email

Go into the administration mode. Select network settings. Change your outgoing or SMTP e-mail server to the new source you are using.

Cannot scan to email Konica Minolta 250 Bizhub

To scan to email, Administrator email address must be set in the machine (any bogus email address will work too).
Also, email server address must be input as IP address if DNS or WINS is not running in LAN.

with scan to Email on this machine you need a mail server that is local with ftp scanning you need IIS running on either XP Pro or server OS SMB Scanning can be done but only if you are using an eithernet connection which one of these do you want do to do
