The camera is adaptable for use in any composite video application with the use of a balun.
on the output. I had noise-less video and clean audio across a 350 foot run of cat 5e.
I assume you are using this configuration to connect a phone and not data outlet. The RJ11 connector is used for phones and the RJ45 is used for data. The CAT6 cable has 8 wires and to wire this cable to a RJ45 connector 2 wires on the CAT6 cable are not connected.
Go to this site for a wiring diagram for RJ11 to RJ45.
I was able to catch a glimpse of the back of this unit. I cannot tell by the picture but it is either a RJ11 connector or RJ45 Connector. RJ 11 is the connector on your landline phones and RJ45 connectors are used in computer networking applications. If you have either of these cable laying around you can verify which is which, after that if you do not want to buy the crimp tool for these connectors I would suggest sacrifice whichever cable it ends up being (RJ11 or RJ45) and splice your speaker wire to the two active leads, + and -. Good luck!
on the pinpad end you need RJ11 connector and on the terminal end you will need RJ12 connector. Please check with your supplier for correct configuration
I broke a cable module on one of the original cables during installation. I tried to substitute a normal telephone cable with 6 pin RJ11 modules but it wouldn't work. I finally got the broken module to work but there is apparently some difference between the pins or wiring of the furnished smo-120S cable and RJ11 phone cable.
Sorry I don't have a solution but perhaps will help you find a solution.
