My Kohler single lever pull-out faucet stopped working. Raising up does not start water flow. Turning left sometimes starts some hot water, but raisinglever up and down does not start or stop water flow as it used to. Also seems very tight now.

Fix a kohler faucet
most likely the gasket broke inside the lever, you have to replace it.
shut the water off from the angle stop (valve under the sink) both hot and cold.
use an allen wrench ("L" wrench) to remove the tiny screw around the lever, >>>>before you do that place a rag covering the drain for if you drop it<<<< after that pull the lever out, that will show the inside of the faucet. use an adjustable wrench to remove the actuator from the base. when you get that part out you should be able to see the damage to the gasket. At that point you need a phillips screwdriver to get the gasket out and back in >>>>take the damaged gasket to the hardware store<<<< and get a replacement you may have to change more than one. after you get all the gaskets in place, reinsert the actuator and don't forget to tight it up with the adjustable wrench. center it so it would dispense the same amount of hot and cold water, replace the lever reinsert the tiny screw with the "L" wrench. turn on water from angle valves and test faucet.
that should do it and save you about 300 bucks
if it works for you don't forget to rate me

I have a single handle kohler bath tub faucet I am not getting any cold water out. i have taken this apart and found nothing that i can see that would impede the flow of water ?is the mixer valve at the...

If the faucet was working before and then just stopped, it is the mixing valve or a clogged supply line.
turn the water off and remove the mixing valve. Turn the water on and see if you have good flow from both hot and cold ports inside the faucet.
Caution- this procedure can get messy, close the shower curtain or door.
Call Kohler and ask for a new mixing valve for free.

Low water pressure from faucet, but plenty of pressure in water lines.

1-Remove aerator from end of faucet spout to check to make sure it is not obstructed by anything. Grit builds up there and causes flow to decrease , but it can be taken appart and cleaned out.

2-If you have a sprayer attachment to it sometimes the diverter goes bad. This sends water to spray head.

Cut water off remove handle with allen wrench and loosen collar on top to gain access to remove spout. after removing handle and collar you can pull up on spout or work it side to side easily to remove it.

In the middle at the bottom it has a removeable diverter that can be removed and replaced.

If it comes appart it will restrict water flow.

3- If you have to remove faucet to make sure no obstructions any where esle.

I hope this may be some help for you to have a starting point.

Kohler Fairfax single control kitchen sink faucet

Remove the air-irater at the end of the faucet where the water comes out. That is where 99% of clog are on faucets. If that does not do it then you need to replace the cartridge.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs up for the free answer.

No hot water pressure on kohler bath / shower faucet

Try draining the system and apply air pressure (min 30psi) to each faucet. Open other hot water faucets to allow pressure to vent. Next try draining and cleaning the hot water tank.
