A common problem with this television is the power unit. Some of the capacitors go out on them within 2 years. You can buy a replacement power unit for about $150 or if you know how to use a soldering gun you can purchase the capacitors for about $5 and fix the unit yourself.

I just fixed my Polaroid 3732 and it cost me $3.49. I would push the power button and the standby light would come on but the picture would not appear. After I changed the capacitors it starts right up.

You can buy the capacitors on Amazon.com. Search for 1000uf 25v (you need 2 of these) and 1000uf 35v (one of these).

Here is a video you can use that will give you the step by step.

We have a Polaroid TV, Model FLM3732. When we turn the TV on, there is a loud pitching noise that lasts for 3-5 minutes, and then goes off and runs normally. Is there anything we can do to trouble shoot?

The high pitch you are hearing is probably due to failing electrolytic capacitors in the power supply module. Eventually this will no longer function. A tell tale sign would be swollen caps "tops are convex" on this pc board usually 1000mf 25 v caps or simular. I would refer to competent tech for repair of module to component level.

Where can i get a replacement screen for FLM3732

If you are looking to replace the LCD panel itself you might as well replace the TV. I looked into the model number of your TV ans there are at least 2 different versions of panels they use. At minimum the panel costs $1,365.00

Polariod LCD FLM3732 does not show picture but has power

Its possible that you have some bad Electrolitic Capacitors. They are a very easy fix and very easy to see if they are bad. I have some vids posted on youtube on the fix for this. It only costs a few dollars to do. Just search on youtube for flm3732 repair or go right to my channel youtube.com/raider2845 and watch the 5 short vids I had posted.
