A common problem with this television is the power unit. Some of the
capacitors go out on them within 2 years. You can buy a replacement
power unit for about $150 or if you know how to use a soldering gun you
can purchase the capacitors for about $5 and fix the unit yourself.
I just fixed my Polaroid 3732 and it cost me $3.49. I would push the
power button and the standby light would come on but the picture would
not appear. After I changed the capacitors it starts right up.
You can buy the capacitors on Amazon.com. Search for 1000uf 25v (you need 2 of these) and 1000uf 35v (one of these).
