I want to know the ideal picture settings for my samsung tv - (LE32B450C4W). The picture settings seem to need changing depending upon the type of programme i am watching. The TV is HD ready, but I am not using a HD system.

There are as you know factory presets to choose from in the user menu.. Your eyes will tell you what you like. The only other way to get a killer picture is to have the TV Calibrated by a good ISF Calibrator.

I cannot show pictures on my tv from my sony 120 . I have the cords and the input on the tv but nothing happens when I try to show them???The manual suggest to delete the usb port???

Hi,

You can either use the supplied A/V and USB Multi connector cable for connecting the Camera to the TV. Connect the Yellow cable to the Yellow port on the TV for Video and the Red and White for audio. Then select the proper input on the TV where the cable is connected.
You may also connect the HD Out of the Camera to the HDMI Input on the TV using the compatible HDMI cable for the Camera.
Before connecting the Camera to the TV, you may have to change the settings in the Camera depends on the TV type.
1. Component Settings from the Main Settings 2 Menu of the Camera should be set to HD or SD depends on the connection. Also depends on HDMI (HD) or A/V (SD) video connection.
2. Video Out Settings from the Main Settings 2 menu of the Camera should be set to NTSC or PAL depends upon the color system of the TV.
Try changing the settings in the Camera and connect it to the TV to view the images.

My tv picture does not seem bright have tried the settings but no difference

rear projection and DLP TV sets use high intensity light bulbs that wear out over time, usually 3-5 years depending upon how much you use your TV. The bulb is most likely wearing out, consult the user's guide that came with your set and it should give you ordering information as well as directions on how to change it out. If you don't have your user's guide simply go to the SAMSUNG web site and look it up. It might also be a good idea to comparison shop (google rear projection tv bulbs) for the bulbs, they can be quite expensive. Hope this helped, good luck.

Hi. Just found this site. I have a Samsung LE32B450C4W TV. I am not technical at all and Virgin Media have installed us a V+ HD box today. However, I have now discovered when I turn the TV off and back on...

You should try this way. Unplug the box and replace by DVD player or others with HDMI output and turn/on off to see the TV keeps changing HDMI sources or not. If it is changed, you have to call service to replace the main board. Else, your TV works well.

I am usubg 845 gvrs motherboard now I want to installed extra internal harddisk what will be ideal harddisk and size

The size of the hard disk depends upon what type of programs you are running and the amount of data you need to store.
Programs that create large amount of data are audio and video files.
The tpye of hard drive depends on what type of disk controller you have, it could be IDE or SATA disk controller, you need to check your computer's hard disk controller.
The average hard disk capacity is 160 Gb to 180 Gb and goes up to 1 Tb, but the largest capacity drive your cmputer can support will depend upon the BIOS.
