My Electrolux 7kg EWF1074 Front Loader Washer starts a cycle then after a couple of seconds it makes a clicking sound and stops and the start/pause button flashes. If I press start again the cycle works through all the way without a problem. No error message comes up. It's not a huge problem because the washing machine still works it's just really annoying!!! Can anyone help please???

I've just bought one of these machines, and the manual says the E40 warning means the door is not properly closed. Seems like that would be obvious if it were true, but maybe check that it is closing completely.

Press and hold the 'Delay' and 'Extra Rinse' buttons together and it will 'unlock' your control panel (this is a tamper proof feature for the kiddies)

I googled the make and model of the washing machine and it bought up a site that had manuals that were in PDF form and I printed it from that.
In fact I got the manual for the washing machine, oven and microwave.

Well I have the manual. If you want it.If the problem is water leaking out the door LG recommends you shim the door latch with washers. This would make the door close tighter and eliminate leaks. See page 36
