Canon mp210 will not recognise re-filled ink cartridges

This will either be because your printer is having trouble recognising the cartridges or warning of low ink because the cartridges have been refilled. Connect a computer to the printer and it will hopefully give you more info.

If your printer cannot recognise the cartridges try wiping the contacts on the front of the cartridges and re-installing. If your printer still doesn't recognise the ink cartridges then sadly they will need replacing.

If it is just a low ink warning then carry on printing untill the printer thinks the cartridges are empty and prevents you from printing. You can them get around this message by pressing the stop/reset/resume button for 5 seconds and continue printing. Throw away the refilled cartridges. Using original cartridges is the wise solution

The cartridge chip at least needs to be reset. But it may be that the printer is set so that it won't even recognise the cartridge if you manage to do this. Buy an Epson.

hold down the stop reset button for 10 seconds that will bypass the sensor and let you use the refilled cartridges.

to be honest the generic or refurb cartridges are hit and miss

And the printer heads on these are used and may have allot of previous use .

Best bet it to use official ink cartridges.

Even if the ink level is low, you can continue printing.Press the paperfeed knob for 5 seconds. inklevel indicator will stop now.
Sometimes a new (or refilled) cartridge is not recognised correctly.
When one color is really mt, stop printing and replace inmideatly the colorcartridge.Printing or scanning without the 2 cartridges in place is impossible.

Because these a refills inks the Chip things they are full so you must replace the cartridge with a new Canon one and the fault will go. If not just replace the chip with a new one!

Then your error u150 will go.

I held down the stop butten for five seconds and now it seems to work fine. Perhaps this could help you.
