My carriage on my Janome 350E is jammed and is not moving properly

Try to reboot the machine. The damage might already be done. Turn machine off, remove usb. Turn back on. Was the design the proper format?

Update--as in software? Probably your Janome dealer...

Try unplugging it and plug back in might reset

Sounds like a usb port problem. Try another usb stick first.

With your machine off, manually move your carriage up & down or left & right, when you put on your machine the carriage should run back to its original setting.

Have you oiled it lately? under the bobbin there is a white colored "wick" one drop of oil (maybe 2 now).

It also might be time for a professional service.

When my janome 350e did this I had to take it in to be calibrated and one month later it did it again and I had to take it back it has not given me any problems since but it would be nice to know how to do this myself it only took 5 minutes for this and takes me 3 hours there and 3 hours back.
