First question I'd want to resolve is whether the keyboard is bad, or you have a system problem. Plug keyboard into another PC and see if it works.

If it does, try uninstalling the keyboard using device manager, rebooting, and plugging keyboard back in.

Omega watch setting minute hand

There is a way to put the crown back in by pushing a certain bar in the watch, but you need to take it to a pro because watch insides are super delicate. I've changed batteries, removed links etcc for 16 years and I wouldn't touch this procedure

My keyboard just quit working. What can I do to fix it.

Your only option on a notebook keyboard is to find a replacement on eBay. Google for diagrams and replace it yourself. Take digital pictures as you go so you know how to put it back together.

Here what you need to know about standard keyboards:
The older, round keyboard plugs must be plugged in when the computer starts up or they will not be detected. Make sure none of the plug pins are bent and it is connected to the correct port then restart the computer.
Keyboards with USB plugs can be plugged in and unplugged while the computer is running. It does take a few moments for the computer to detect the change.
If it still doesn't work don't waste anymore time with it. Replacements start a $14 with shipping. (www.newegg.com)

My dell dimension xps 400 does not detect mouseand keyboard

Hi, these instructions will help you, and "everything that you do for the Keyboard; apply the same instruction to the Mouse." First, click on the "Start" button, in the ["Start Search Window], Type: keyboard; the "Keyboard" Properties window will open. You can (Test) to see exactly how your keyboard is responding. If you are still having the same problem, (check, the Keyboard Status). "Update the Drivers," by clicking on the "Properties" button. Now in the event that neither of these solutions solve the problem, which I hope you shouldn't have to do anymore; "Uninstall the Keyboard. To "Uninstall the "Keyboard," do the following: Shut-down (turn- off completely); disconnect all the Keyboard Devices that are connected to the Computer. Next, turn-on the Computer, and go back to the "Keyboard Properties," next, click on the "Change Settings" button, next click on the "Driver" button, and select the "Uninstall" button. Once that is finished, shut-down the Computer again. Now you want to "Reconnect" all the devices that were connected before, and "Turn-on" the Computer. "You will repeat exactly what you did from the start, this will "Re-install the Keyboard. "Restart the Computer again after all changes have been made; this will ensure the changes take effect properly. "Rating the solution will let me know if it worked; or you may need further assistance, thanks."

Hi, the CS62U is connected with an HP8750 (win2000) and a MSI WIND NETTOP 120 (win XP home). It works perfectly with the HP desktop but the mouse is not responding anymore.

Try this:
1. Disconnect your HP computer, so that only the MSI Wind is connected.
2. On the keyboard, hit [Numlock]+[-] then press [A] (this will auto-search for the computer that's connected, and connect both keyboard and mouse to that port).

Give XP a minute to detect new hardware. If XP does not detect the mouse, try plugging the mouse into a port directly on your netbook. If XP still does not detect the mouse, it's XP that's not detecting your mouse properly, not the kvm switch. :) If it does detect it, you should be able to then plug it back into your kvm switch and it should work at that point.
Note: if you get stuck with lights flashing on your keyboard, just hit [Esc] on the keyboard. That will reset the KVM switch.
Hope this helps!
