Hi
There is a small knob in the bean hopper. It is all the way to the plus(+). Turn it back towards the minus(-) 1 mark. Then try again. It could also be the grinder is separated and is putting to large of a grind into the brew unit. When you have dry grounds dumped into the dredge drawer, it is because the brew unit can't compress it. If it is done too many times it will break the brew drive.
I recently had this problem. I throughly cleaned and lubricated the brew group as directed by the manual. Apparently if the brew group doesn't move smoothly enough it won't grind the correct amount of beans.
Try lubricating and then brewing 2-3 cups to have the machine recalibrate the grind amount.
Hi
there are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the small knob down to the middle and try again. you can get too much coffee in the brew unit and it will dump the grounds instead of making coffee. If the grinds are to big or coarse, it will also dump the ground.
HI When a machine grinds but doesn't make any coffee there are a couple of things. If the grounds are wet in the dredge drawer, then you have a plugged brew head and need to clean it. If the grounds are dumped dry into the dredge drawer, then you have an overcharge and need to adjust the dosing lever back from the full charge. On your machine it is inside the door at the top center. Pull the lever back towards the front 1 click. Then try again.
Hi Dry grounds dumped. There is a lever at the top of the door on the right side. Yours is actually inside the door on the machine. Pull the lever back 1 notch from the plus(+) . You are dumping too much coffee in the brew unit and it can not compress it, so it dumps it, or breaks the drive gears. Never push the lever all the way or it can cause this overcharge. Its fine if the brew group is clean but when you make coffee there is always a residue left and this is what causes the overcharge.
Here's how to fix your problem, remove the brew unit and clean the shower screen located at the top, under the red o-ring. Remove the screen and clean, then try coffee again this time adjust grind about 2 numbers coarser.
Hi You have 2 knobs in the bean hopper. The small one is set to the most positive. Turn it back 1 click from the plus and that should take care of your problem. When you have a clean brew unit it will make the first coffee but a little coffee is left in the brew unit and when it tries to make the second coffee a full charge and the little that was left cause an over charge, and dumps the coffee without making anything.
