Honestly, No it is really not worth fixing. Most of the error codes with the finisher deal with the stapler unit and the guides that move for the stapler to work. Do you know if the finisher has all of the up dates installed? If not, it may cost just as much to fix it. Sorry for the bad news... Make sure the copier is OFF and take the cable out of the back of the copier and push the finisher from the copier and use it as a stand a lone copier..... Good Luck
Finisher lift up motor trouble, look for any mechanical problems in the output tray then cancel the error by pressing #*c* respectively then again press 14 and exicute the trouble cancel this mayt resolve your problem otherwise your lift up motor or finisher controle pwb needs replacement
Your machine is installed with finisher model is AR-FN7, it's lift up motor is working ub normally, the motor may be defective or over current to the motor or you have to change the console finisher control PWB, you can try to enter to the service mode by pressing #*c* button in the respective order then you will get another display to enter the main code then press 3, then press start, then again press 3 and start by this you can check the lift up motor working . rate this and give feed back accordingily I can give you the instruction.
A error code F1-09 deals with the finisher of the copier. Have the bins gotten stuck or got something in it's way when moving up & down. I would turn the copier off and unplug the finisher from the copier, 1 screw holds connector in. Then I would turn it back ON and see if the code is gone, if so reconnect the finisher and you should be good to go...
F1 FIRST OF ALL CHECK WHAT IS THE SUB CODE .IF SUB CODE IS 00 ITS COMMUNICATION ERROR BETWEEN MAIN BOARD AND FINISHER.IF 01 FINISHER SHIFT PROBLEM.IF 06 FINISHER MOTOR PROBLEM.IF 10 THAT IS STAPLER PROBLEM.DO NOT FORGET TO RATE THE SOLUTION.MIAN JEE
Generally F codes have to do with the finisher(used to be called a sorter). with the machine off, diconnect the finisher cord from the copier and power back on. This should allow you to test the copier. I'm not sure on this model how exactly the finisher cord comes out. but it should be self explanitory when you see it.
