I assume that you tried replacing with fresh batteries, the battery contacts are clean?

Universal remotes are available to replace yours. You have to type in a product code for the type of TV.

Remote contol does not work any longer. Problem is not the remote, it seems the TV doesn't pick up what the remote is sending (tested with 2 remotes, both don't work on another TV they work)
Optical pick-up sensor/ circuit in the TV not functioning. Check the associated circuit.

Remote no longer works after opening rear of TV
I think blowing air cleaned the TV but Remote Sensor at front of TV got more dusty and now unable to receive Infrared signal of remote. That's my theory and can be confirmed by cleaning of Remote Sensor in TV.
