Any electronics store around your house should be able to sell you a universal remote. In most cases if you already have another samsung tv in your house that remote should work as well.

For Combo Devices, in many cases a single code operates both parts of the device (e.g. the TV and the VCR). In other cases you need to set up two codes. For example, one for the TV and one for the VCR. Where codes are shown below as [### ###] the first code operates the first part of the device's name, and the second code operates the second part. E.G., for a TV/VCR device, the first code operates the TV and the second code operates the VCR.

Where the code is listed as [### ###] the first is for the TV and the second is for the VCR. Otherwise just the one code operates both the TV and the VCR.

Good luck as most combo units use odd codes that change from model to model and year to year---I doubt the philips remote is able to program to that set.

None of the combo units will program with a universal remote--codes are changed from model to model and year by year.
