I have a Panasonic Viera about 3 year old.

To reset the software, unplug the mains during 30 secs and the plug it back and turn it on. This could solve the problem.

Tv won't change from chanel to chanel

Do a hard reset to this set and check first. To make it hard reset, unplug the set from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so.If this do not help you, check and replace its main system memory IC.

Sony tv kv-20fv 300 power light just blinks

Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

I have connected a Toshiba

SCART cable just transmits the signal thats on your tv's tuner to your recorder. In other words, you can record only what you are watching. If you want to get around this, then connect the cable or satellite signal source directly to the recorder, and then connect a cable from the video out of the recorder to the video in of your tv. That way you can watch one channel and record another.

Let me know if you need more help,
Sai.

Cant change channels?

What is your antenna source? Cable or antenna? Try keying in a certain channel on your remote. see if you get that channel. Tv will not auto program if you do not have channel source coming in to antenna input.

Sony KV-24FV300 changing video input by itself - possessed?

It sounds like the tact switches (on the control panel) are defective.....This usually happens after some one cleans the screen with a spray and it drips onto the board, Or they went bad on their own.

TV automatically switches to channel 666.

Sounds like a bit of a devil(lol),could be interferance from a device causing this problem, have you got a flourecent light in the room, this is known to interfere with the tv's remote sensor, also try taking the batteries out of the remote???
Failing this it could be a fault in the tv,an i.c. has become corrupted and will need software to be re-installed but this is the worst case scinario.

Volume gone mad

Is there a ceiling fan in the same room? Under the right conditions, light reflecting off the whirling blades hits the TVs sensor at just the right frequency, causing mysterious things like this. Try covering the infrared sensor on the TV (it should be behind a red transparent piece of plastic somewhere in the front. If this keeps it from "going mad", then something in the room is to blame. If it still does it even when the sensor is covered, then it is the TV. Good luck, and let us know what you find!
